Please help

No apologies necessary. To the extent my earlier reply was rude, you pushed back appropriately. We would all use better manners if we were in the same room together. But we are all anonymous here so don't let anyone's words get to you. All advice is worth what you are paying for it so Dr. J offers sound advice on what to do with this info. See you around!

Well I will continue to use this thread for further questions and updates (I know there are rules to forums. Can I do this) and hopefully hear from you guys again. I greatly appreciate it.

check out some grow journals and some threads individuals maintain (like the one linked thread in my sig.) to get an idea about how to start a single thread you continuously update; include all specifics of your grow. you should probably title it something more specific than "please help" to draw as much interest. that way you get the whole community in on it. post in the appropriate forum (e.g, if you're doing soil, posting a thread in the hydro forum would not be appreciated). after that, just continue to be cordial, toughen up that skin a bit, and keep on keepin on. we'll all be as happy to help as possible. final tip: the search functions on these fora can be a bit unhelpful for users unfamiliar with it. it is very easy to search google for information just from riu by using the "site" operator. for example: if you wanted to search for information about a certain breeder (say, barney's farm) you would type the following into the google seach bar: "site:www.rollitup.org barney's farm"
thats about the long and short of it from me, you should be well on your way now.
be easy,
:peace: :joint: :peace:

FFOF is too hot of a soil to start seeds in. They will either grow through the burn and be okay or they will die. Most likely the the former if you do not compound issues by adding fertilizer. Next time start them off in a low nute starter soil and transplant into the FFOF when they get bigger.

not neccesarily true...i hear this all the time and i dont see what people are talking about...ive grown several times growing straight from FFOF with seeds, 20 different strains at least with no burning ever..but if you add nutes too soon or too much they will burn...i add nutes as soon as they get their first true node with no problems ..but FFOF has enough nutes in it for the first 2 weeks or so

A seedling can go about two weeks from time it pops until it needs nutrients. They will do better if thewater source has a little cal/mag and if you are using tap water it has enough. If you start them in small rockwool cubes, the roots will easily get into the soil in just a couple days and get the nutrition they need.

The only mistake you made on this grow was starting them in FFOF. Just start them in a starter mix next time and they will do great. I would then go to 50/50 mix of starter mix and FFOF on first transplant and full strength FFOF on the third transplant. You won't start adding nutes until about a month after last transplant.
i use only FFOF from seed to harvest, dont mix it, dont transplant and my plants are always very healthy...this is just adding a ton of work that you dont need to do, and adding a lot more stress to the plants by switching soils and transplanting 3 times
