do you guys think I can get great buds jus by growing in ocean forest at the bottom and fox farms at the top?? Cuz if I can avoid using nutes I won't to. By any chance you think that mix can carry me from seed to harvest.

Why mix them?
Just run one or the other.
I use ocean forest with added perlite indoors.

I never make through veg or flower without feeding.
Rule of thumb is the soil is good for about three weeks.

I think you meant happy frog. it has less food and is safer for seedlings/fresh clones

i usually don`t mix them for the reason you suggested, less feeding

I put seeds/clones in happy frog then transplant into ocean forest

Nutshell if you mix happy frog and ocean forest in a pot you will have way less nutrients by volume than just using ocean forest.
Either way you will still need to feed

Plants may survive but plants will suffer, starve, finish improperly.
evidence of this will be seen mid flower and in use.

on the other hand depending upon your expectations of good weed, good survival, thriving plant etc....your
dirt only grow might be the best weeds you ever had. try it, learn from it post pics and keep us apprised.

I start with pro mix, I follow directions on the Organicare fertilizer bag, and use water only. Its the best finish I ever experienced with least amount of cash, time, fuss, issues. I amend with chicken shit and water I guess.

Ok I would be better of using happy frog at the top and ocean forest at the bottom..... Along with fox farms nutes?

I would avoid all fox farm fertilizers. I like their soil and happy frog even more, its just not enough to
feed a thriving flowering plant under hid lights in my experience. Maybe with some teas, some organic amendments....

Yeah, I don't like FF products anymore either. Fresh cooked soil is easy to make. Pretty cool popping the top on the soil bin and the top is covered in myco.

Okay I would to learn and try to amend my own soil. Exactly what ingridents did you use? I seen your final bud pics and you definitely did that shit bro.. I gotta know maby I can make it work for my next grow.

There is an organic section here.
Having someone explain the ins and outs of amending soil and tea is a big ask.
The info has already been laid out.
Not giving you shit at all or saying people shouldnt answer you.

Just saying its a broad topic and if you want to get started anytime soon.
