Advice needed

sounds like you got it down, how big in gallons is a 20 in pot? also i would mix the soils cuz the FFOC has nutes in it and is kinda strong from what i hear so i would put all OC on the bottom and then have it mixed as you fill the pot up and have the top 2 layers just LW soil so you dont burn the seedling. and 4 plants is fine but you could do more or less, like you could do 20 smaller plants or more or 2 bigger plants if you lsted them and kept short.
and as for watering well water with phed water when ever the pot is light and the top 2 inches of soil is completely dry. you shouldnt need nutes for awhile with the FFOC soil you should start a journal and i will try to help as much as i can

The heat won't be *too* bad but you'll probably have to put a little more work/effort into ventilating the closet than you'd think. What kind of fan do you have and is it a problem to leave the closet door open 24/7 (even with the light spilling out)?

ya i rana 600 hps and in a small closet i could drill holes or anything so i had to leave the door cracked open about 6 inches and then have a small fan on low pushing air in from theri, and then i had a small fan on low blowing on top of the plants and n the bulb, then i had a small one underneath the plants on low blowing up theri skirts my temps stayed in the low 80 and it worked great

You'll probably want to think about odor control too and that is difficult if you have to leave the door open (yup, more things to spend money on). One fairly cheap solution without having to destroy anything is to buy a sheet of panda (black/white) film and staple it to the inside of the closet door opening. Cut it down the middle and use adhesive velcro strips to make it into a semi-sealing door you can open and close independent of the real door. You can then cut 4 or 6" ducting holes into a bottom corner and top corner of your new door and use a ducted carbon filter and inline fan. This would also solve any problem with external light getting in (important during flowering) or any inside light getting out (important if you sleep in the same room as the closet).

well i really dnt want to spend anymore money im a cheap ass i kno but i was thinkn buying sum glade plug ins for the smell and was thinkin bout cracking my closet doors a little would tat be cool , and i dnt want my plants to be huge i saw on another forum sum guy was talkin about growing his cycle frm the get go wit a 12/12 light cycle could i do tat!!!!

you dont need the huge fan i used house fans. did you read my above post it kind aalready answered the question. and as for the glade well it will just blend wih the weed smell so you will smell glade and weed mixed but it wont be as strong the only way to eliminate smell is to have a inline fan and a carbon filter. and if you dont want huge plants then yes you could do 12/12 from seed but it takes longer, i would veg them till about 8-12 inches then flower and your plants will be fine and you can also lst to keeo them short

so craking the closet door should be ok and the fan is like 40 inch tall its like a stand up fan tat can do 180 deg

yes but only if the room its self is kinda cool so the air going in is coller then the air inside of the closet. and i cracked mine at about 6 inches. heres a pic of the small fan i had on tops of the plants and blowing on the bulb. teh fan i had blwong air in through tthe crack was a 24 in house fan i would have it on low and check temps and they wer only about 82 at all times so it was fine if i turned on medium it would go down a few but i didnt need that really. you should check the temps after awhile after its been on to ensure its open enough and staying cool if not open a few more inches. i tried finding a pic of my fan blowing in air but couldnt
