SALUTATIONS LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! :blsmoke:

lets get it straight: i wanna grow my own plants

i'll post all the questions and i'll read them as soon as you answer

1. i am a daily smoker, but i dont need much to get high. i smoke the same as two joints a day. how many plants do i need to grow to fullfill my daily needs?i also smoke one occasional extra joint when i meet my friends, its like one joint or two per week, so count those in. :wink:

2. i bought some hemp seeds in an animal's store. i know they are not premium quality, but believe me, its the best i can do. will i encounter any problems by planting these? :sad:

3. i'm germinating 20 of those seeds. i'm using the paper towel method. i saw it on internet, and its working well for me. some already broke free from the shell, and havent passed 24 hours yet, so, good news. what is the most important thing to do next? what is the next step? :roll:

4. i was thinking about the future plants, and i realized i needed a grow tent, but i cant afford 100$ tents. i read some interesting posts here about home-made cardboard grow tents. is this a good way to solve the problem, or is there a better way? My budget to spend in all of this is 50$. remeber, I DONT WANNA SELL WEED, I JUST WANNA SMOKE TWO JOINTS A DAY :wink:

5. about the cardboard homemade grow tent, if it is the best viable way i can afford, what are the basic things it must have in terms of light, fan, heat, etc? remember i just want good weed, i dont intend to have premium super weed, cause i already realised i cant afford it, and the place i have to grow it is not very big. i just intend to have undispensable things (is it the correct word?), no pro ligh kits that cost 400$ :wink:

get a bunch of cfls, wire em best u can
steal a timer from walmart set it 18 on 6 off
go grab some dirt from outside and put it in buckets AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHA
plant as many as you can fit in there , add the cfls where u think is good , t
hey gatta be pretty cose like a few inches , go to walmart again ,
steal some mirical grow 20-20-20 flower nutriants
feed em like it sais , see yellow smash water through the bucket alot
and add less nutes next week, start low

under 50 dollars ur joking urself buddy all in all u need nutes,additives, seeds,buckets,lights,fixtures,box, reflective shit,tds/rc, ph, , buckets, power bill, ur guna be looking at way more then 50 when you finaly figure out what you want , and encounter all the problems..im probly missing alot of money issues but alot comes up.... i would say dont think about it unless you have 300 bucks disposable cash

ALRIGHT MAN listen you can use things that you have around the house. The plants need room to grow. So I would use one of those 5quat ice cream buckets. Have one for ever plant. This covers containers. Next u need soil that is good quality and drains good. Go to a hardware store and ger some perlite-approx 2dollars a bag and some vermaculite-5 dollars a bag get a couple of these. Now with in all the pots u have obtained put a little vermaculite and perlite in each container for good drainage. You can allso fill it with a little peat moss . Fill the remaining space with ph balance soil you can get a ph tester at a hardware store for 5 dollars. Aim for around6.2-7.0 . When the seeds germinate and the tap root is 1/4 inch long place into the pots 1/4 inch deep and littly cover. (Root down). do not fertilize until the plant grows it s first five leaves. feed with 20-20-20 fertilizer during the vegatation stage. Grow lights you can get a plant and aquarium light from walmart for a couple of bucks get an 18inch one for every two plants i would get acouple . I usually move the plants to a window and then put them under light to make up for time. 18-6 lighting until the height you want of at least 6-8 weeks then put them into flowering 12-12 lighting make sure during the dark period no light is let in. And fertilize twice a week with a high phosphorus plant food 9-37-9 for example.(by the way do not over feed just give em 1/2 strength 3 times a week until they get a good size then full strength 2- 3 times a week put time between each feeding) Pre flowering last two weeks the flowering starts and mass buds start to produce let flower until the the little hairs turn 3/4 overall amber do not let them turn brown. By the way little white hairs= females males= little balls rip them out unless u want seeds. just b/c the plants dont show a sex dont reip em out give em time. Flowering usually last 7-10 weeks. A week be4 harvest flush with onyly water for a week (just give them water) for a smoother smoke. Good luck and dont over water + my rep for this my fingers hurt,\.

If you do spend a little more than 50 dollars oh well it is cheaper than buying your own weed. expected harvest if grown to full potential each plant at leat a ounce there will be some males so dont be discoraged.

Oh yeah harvesting and curin. After you harvest you need to manicure your buds ( clippin leaves off) then you can let them hang for a while. The longer you wait for your bud s to dry the better b/c the cannaboids need time to turn into thc. Light water and extream heat all degrades thc so make sure the room is dark and has good a circulation. You can use a fan.

i live in portugal, and there are no walmart here, sorry :-(

a good thing to remember: when i said 50 dollars i mean only in fancy gear, like lights and fan, not in the whole pack ;-)

i'll tell you what i have:

uncountable buckets
uncountable good soil, but pH is 5.5-6 (any problem?i read acidic makes more males,so, do i need to buy other tipe of soil that targets 7???)
i have uncountable seeds

what i figured i needed

one cfl lamp daylight for veg, one white for flowering (i only need one i think, cause they are huge)

cardboard box covered in myler (what is myler?what is the portuguese name for it?)

READ THIS PLEASE:

a store i know sells a reflector for 25 $, a timer by 10$. that makes 35$. should i get it?

For growin also remember not to keep the room too hot have good circulation and keep a little humidity in there. Temps should be at least 70derees but no more than 85 b/c it could stunt growth.

the buckets should be at least 8x8x8 for each plant it can be a little smaller though. The soil If I were u I would get some light potting soil that has peat moss vermaculite already in it and just add soime soil and perlite. That is a little acidic but try findin ways to up the ph a little. For the seeds pick the darkest ones that are not fragile when you squeeze them a little . And germinate them in distilled water cause it is already the right ph. The reflector u can just get a board or somethin and put aluminum foil on them works lust as good. the timers are nice if you are just growin indors and are really lazy to plug and un plug. You can leave the lights ont 24/7 if you want during the vegatation period. But wait until the plant is biggerthan a seedling.

you have a valid point here project. any grow should be considered serious b/c of the risks, albeit many times small. that being said, proper investment will lead to proper returns. unless you want some crap bud that you will be posting and crying over. or unless you have many many grows under your belt and you know whatthe dizzle is

oh yeah the cfls you need more than one if your gunna have more than one plant I would get a bunch. It could rack up your elec bill. thats why i move em to the window during the day and put them under lights durin the night. And mylar i think is a type of reflective element. Just use aluminum foil. Any other questions?

the problem here is that i wanna grow small, not cheap.
when i say 50 i mean in gear like lights and other stuff
how many plants do i need with what i smoke?
