Please report your smell and taste

No i don't grow in super soil because i don't have enough room to make it in my appartment. I usually grow in pretty rich soil like bat-mix from Plagron or from H&G and for nutes i use bio-bizz or General Organic, only organic anyway.
I know it's strange to find a piney smelling Jillybean, i was the first surprised to get this result. That's why i'd like to know if other growers had this bad(for me) experience when growing Jillybean or other TGA strain.
I agree there is a part of hazard when you grow a seed but finding in the same pack the different girls i had is like growing different crosses. My Jillybean pack was from 2008, i kept my favorite girl until recently but i wanted to change so i grew my last seeds. I really can't smoke something smelling "bad" for me, i don't keep for myself the buds i don't like. That's personal taste and each one is different, the girls i found and didn't like could have been keepers for someone else because except the smell they were beautiful.

I finished two Jillybeans in mid-January. They were my second attempt, as the first in the fall produced two males. ONE of those males had the over-the-top orange smell from about 3 weeks of flowering in. The other didn't. I believe the orangey one was the "candy store" phenotype. Doesn't matter, as I cut them down and started over.

The next two were females, but neither were the candy store pheno. They smelled a little orangey, but not WOW OVER THE TOP ORANGEY.

Now that they've been curing a month, they smell a little orangey in the jar, and the smell of the smoke is DELICIOUS. I usually vape, but I've been smoking joints just so my room smells like smoke -- it's that good. The taste is very smooth and pleasant, but I wouldn't say it tastes like skittles, which was in one of the smoke reports I read.

Now a month ago I had some Super Lemon Haze that REALLY tasted like lemons, and I was hoping my Jillybean harvest would be similar, but with orange. Not so -- but she's such a lovely, happy, bonding smoke, I'm more than okay with it. I will grow Jillybean again, but I only grow two plants once or twice a year, and my next crop will be SpaceDawg.

i have three JB's going....one is the over the top orange skunk, and i love it....she is at 6-1/2 weeks...shorter and robust structure, i also have what looks like the candy store pheno...she is tall and lanky....she is only at 3 weeks or so, i should know about the third pheno here in a week or so, but so far she seems in between the two.....

this is interesting. PB is basically a bx representation of TGA's main man space dude. if it results in pine it could explain a lot of the pine in most other strains.

Thanks for info on your Timewreck, that's a strain i'm interested with but i'd like to collect more data about smell and taste find in it. I suppose gummy worms are candy. When US people speak about specific products from their country many people have no idea what you're talking about. For example i have no idea how is smelling dreamcicle, that's why i made this thread to get more understantable info for growers of the world. TGA is becoming more and more popular in France but most of the time we have no idea what you make reference to.
For thread title i'd like to edit it, to make it not so ridiculous but i can't, sorry.

There is a post explaining what is funky smell at the thread beginning, it can mean a lot of different thing so if you can have other words to describe the plant's smell it's better.
@ frankfast, don't worry i get what you mean. I know it's not easy to describe cannabis smell, so much nuances. Give more info about your Qleaner when they got their final smell because it's a strain i'd like to do as well but not if it smells like poo.
This is a quick list of TGA gear i plan to try:
-Timewreck or Chernobyl
-Jack's Cleaner
-Qleaner
-Ripped Bubba
-Space-Dawg
This is the TGA strains i've grown or grow now:
-Jillybean
-Ace of Spades
-Space-jill
-Querkle

I've grown chernobyl and jillybean. The chernobyl is my favorite of the two and I intend to grow it again. Both of them were outdoor grows in this case. The two (so not a LOT of experience) jillybean plants were rather tall/and not very full. The flavor was citrusy...a little orange. It was good but the chernobyl (also two plants) beat it in quantity (quite a bit more although the jillybean had a short problem with caterpillars) and quality. I'd say the chernobyl tasted citrusy as well but more limey than orange. It has a definite pleasant little bite to it...a citrus bite. I may try growing the jillybean again but if I do, it will be an inside grow so I can keep pests better at bay. BTW, if you do an outdoor grow, Safer caterpillar killer is really quite effective and safe.

I will be growing some other TGA strains - maybe next grow. I have seeds for Vortex, plushberry and dairy queen (i've never grown a cheesy strain). In the future, I would also like to try querkle and/or deep purple as I know I like purple urkle (grape and spice!)
