Please Somebody Help!!!

Hi everyone. I've been browsing this forum for God knows how many weeks now for help, so I decided to join in and get direct help from the pros.

What I need is pointers and advise...

Here is my set up:

a) I started out with what my buddy told me was an Afgan seed, feminized.

b) Using a combo of Miracle Grow potting soil w/ a little amount of outdoor soil in a three gal. pot.

c) Began growing outdoors in mid July, but damn stealing neighbors forced me indoors after one month. Prior to the permanent move, I was taking the plant indoors at night. The plant was vegging for a good month and a half. I started to go 12-12 5 days ago.

d) I have a 5x5x10 closet I'm currently using, with 5 40w Soft White CFLs 3000k temp. 2600 lumens. 4 lights are hanging above seperately forming a square around the canopy top, and I have one that is on the side. I have a Digital Timer to handle the 12-12 cycle, but for the first 4 days of flowering there was a problem and was off about 20 min. to 1 hour (per day). Plant is 2 days into a normal cycle.

e) I have one medium sized earthworm in the soil.

f) I give the plant alternating food every other day when it needs it.
I usually start off with Miracle Grow powder mixed w/ I gallon of water,
then 2 days later I will use aquarium water from my fish tank (freshwater), but each day twice I spray seltzer water on the leaves for CO2. I even sit in the closet to smoke my bud, to give more CO2.

e) I rotate the plant a quarter turn each day to better optimize the side light. The plant is on it's 13th node, plenty of secondary growth, and each of them has their 3rd node. The fan leaves are covering up the secondary growth pretty well though. Plant is good and green.

!!!!Just took a look at the plant, and the top 4 nodes have pistils potruding from each one!!!! no smell yet...

Whew!!! I know that I'm nothing if not detailed in my notes! Now, I don't know if I'm doing any thing right or what, I learned all I know through small talk at work. Can somebody please tell me if I'm on the right track, or if there is something I can do to better the plant yeild?

Well first off get some good nutes ( not MG) AN(advance nutrients) has some good products if you cna get em.. my hydro shop told me they are going out of biz and no longer carring their products.. not sure if that is correct or not. I like fox farm and also have started to use this product awsome blossom, so we will see how that works cant recommend it yet but you can always try it. fox farm 3 pack is good to start. you should also toss a couple more clfs in there as light density helps fatten buds and since your not using hids you should get as much as you can from the cfls i would recommend using t5's next time if you want to stay low budget.

Also just make sure your timers are working periodically check them, make sure you get atleast 12 hrs of dark time. I mean I have had my timers be off all day before ( thats what I get for using damn cheap timers) I mean its not thebest thing to screw with the light sch. but eh not the end of the world.

I have a Indoor/outdoor grow, and my crop is more vulnerable to pests. I suggest you dont move your plant in and outside if you can avoid it.

LASTLY READ some more Im tired of typing , one of the first things you should have read about was warnings on the use of Miracle grow, as cannibis is sensative to nutes and MG is packed full, even the organic shit. can make it a little hard to regulate for new growers and plus cannibis isnt a huge fan of it, you can get plenty better nutes. GL

Hey, thanks for the advice. Half of the advice you gave though I can't use because I live away from anywhere within 100 miles of getting any good nutes. Just as an update though, It's now on day 15 of the 12/12, I've added two more of the same 40w 3000k CFLs, and the only plant food that I can find in my area: Miracle Grow Flower Bloom 15-30-15 w/ trace nutrients. I put half the recommended dosage in a gallon of water and use it every third watering (which I water every two days, it seems the plant droops if I wait until three days to water). There's a lot of white hairs sticking out of each of the node sites, secondary growth is on it's fifth nodes...but I'm having some burn issues w/ the fan leaves with the cfls. Almost half the fan leave have at least some minor burns. I have also cut off individual fan leaves to help get the tops underneath direct light. (I hope that didn't mess with the plant's overall health!)

I forgot to mention that I have a 9" fan that blows on the plant fresh air from the bedroom. So heat damage to the plant shouldn't be an issue, but it apparently is.

MG soil has enough nutes for 3 months in it usually, those stupid little white balls. You shouldn't be adding any nutes if your soil has it already.

I don't know how a worm would live in MG soil, or live with MG fert added. He's dead man... You can't mix outdoor soil in your grow with MG soil that's bad bad bad for many reasons. I know you started it as outdoor but hey, don't do that..

You should sit with your plants, you should not smoke around them though, they do not like it.

Choose the right soil and nutes for organic or not, etc.

The biggest thing you could do to grow more bud is get more light. Like one of those $20 150w hps's or two...
