please suggest light size for this room if you have time

Hi all and thank you for taking time:

there are so many threads and its quite confusing so I thought I"d just start another thread ... if nothing else perhaps it will be updated info:

but what is the most affordable/best value lighting system?

I just used to use a 1000 blue and I think it was 1000 red but perhaps it was 400 red

this took care of a room about 5' tall by 7' long and 5ft width.

my current grow area will be about 5' square and I was thinking about trying to stagger plants in the fashion of some steps ... and hang the light down the middle .. not using any kind of reflector because the light would hang like this

then do that on all four sides, add my fans and go.

if that makes any sense then what size light would you recommend?

I would prefer to use both blue to start and then red to finish so please recommend for both.

basically a stadium grow but with only one bulb hanging vertical

DIY cool tube on a 1000w HPS bulb would certainly do the trick for a step / stadium type grow in that size area. You could get away with a 600w, but either way ventilation is going to be a primary concern if you aren't using an air vented hood. Hence, the DIY cool tube suggestion.

i would go as far as to say that a 600 is to small.
i tried a stadium with 3 600's hps and was not happy if you can i would reconsider sticking to a normal grow mabe with a light mover.
thats what i did.

you can buy like 6 cheap 150s and hang them everywhere
