This is my 3rd year growing. I grow outdoors in the northern hemisphere. I grew barneys l.s.d pineapple chunk and g13/haze. I grow them in mushroom mulch and topsoil. Well the plants were beautiful the l.s.d. were literaly over 10 ft tall. Only problem with them was they seemed to bud to late and didn't fully fill out into nice thick buds. But that's another issue. Problem is I also had a clone that a friend gave me of what he grows to be quite honest its just crap really but I decided to throw it in anyway in my old grow spot and see what happened.well somehow some waythis plant that I paid little attention to only nuted once in awhile it was small not big buds nothing maybe 5 foot tops two ounces at most ended up being the best. How is that possible I spend all this money at attitude getting from what I always thought is some of the best seeds around and this clone is better weed. It has me so disgusted I put everything into this cropthe plants were absolutely beautiful but the buds just aren't as good. The crystals the resin glans was real sticky on all three I ordered but don't get u as high as the clone. Plz help if u know why I'm ready to just give up on the seeds? How can this be??

Most of the strains you mentions are geared toward inside growing, possibly the little orphan that you threw out there was better addapted to outside conditions. I'm growing lsd right now and CAN'T wait to taste her

Only thing I could thini is the seeds weren't what attitude said they were but I find that hard to believe being that each of the plants looked identical to pics iseen of them online. But I will say the l.s.d. wasn't suppose to grow huge and it did and it was supposed to be outdoor harvest early to mid sept. And it was early oct I pulled them because of weather here had no choice with the wind.but pineappla and g13 finished when said to

I think most of the descriptions that they give are generalized, next year you can induce flowering sooner with a few simple tricks

i never go by recommended dates etc from companies. also barneys, a great shop for buds at the dam, puts out subpar beans that i doubt they produce and are very hit and miss. Next year I would run companies like mandala that are closer to landrace genetics that you can compare to your area to get a better crop.

Well about 200 to 250 total. R u saying the attitude seeds aren't that good? Do u know another site? I grew sweet tooth from them last year turned out well. I mean these plants were huge a lot of bud sites really healthy. And I'm convinced they were what they were supposed to be but how in the world can this crap clone be better it has me dumbfounded. These plants were my babies I took great care of them. Don't get me wrong this weed isn't garbage it will def get u high but that clone just seems to be a lot better and don't make sense

Thanks a lot I will look into mandala. Ya I'm starting. To wonder about barneys farms seeds myself I think I'm gonna stay away from them next year. I'm thinking on going with dutch passion #1 kannabia special and reserva privada kandy kush. What do u think of these three for outdoor growing in my area? I know the passion. A friend had kandy kush last year and it was amazing and he grew it here.

I believe there are two reasons for better growth of your one plant. Firstly, it's a clone not a seed. Clones provide a huge jump start to the plant, sometimes as much as 4 weeks. Depending on the age of the mother, you could have a high thc, high ferted clone that simply produces more.

Secondly, I have experience with Barney's Farm and I have to admit I was underwhelmed. Attitude is simply a seedbank. They can't vouch for the quality of every single source they get their seeds from. In my experience with Barney's, my seeds were poorly germinated with stunted growth. I did, however, find suitable mothers which IMO is what you should be looking for in a package of seeds.

What do u mean I need to look for suitable mothers? I can grow a plant but when it comes to seed brands and finding what's good in my area I have a hard time. As for the barneys farm I'm really starting to agree with that. But the plants were very healthy and looked great best plants I have ever grown as far as size health etc. Just the finished product. I just wanna get this fixed going into next year and I appreciate everyones responses. Again do u think dutch passion number 1 kannabia special and kandy kush would be good suitors for outdoor plants in northern hemisphere? If I can get some peoples opinion on them for my area I mmight go with one or all of the strains or if u have any better ideas? I'm definately staying away from barneys farms next yeasr. As for the clone I highly doubt this plant was a high quality clone and that's my problem.
