Thanks for the help. It makes sense now with the ppms being so high. I hope I can salvage this mess.
No problem! I lost enough plants to know whose the usual suspect esp when everything was just so vibrant. Then the droop then the panic set it lol. Your gonna be good just keep an close eye on the ppms.

Its amazing how fast things can go down hill. Went through veg no problems. Environment was dialed in. And 4 weeks left of flower and it all falls apart. Lol

Omg i really hope this grow ended up pulling through for you. I can't believe members are giving you information on a topic they have absolutely no idea about. The entire time you were questioning their answers properly. You shouldn't have flushed. Basically just killing all the work you put into making a strong microbial network in the root system.

You were probably interpreting nute deficiency for burn. You should have either done a tea or a small top dress. Your pH should have been around 6.3-6.7.

That's the thing about slow release organic dry Amendments, there are no salt build ups, that's why you dont water with run off. The nutrients feed the microbial life in the coco. That's why I'm so baffled because there are no extra nutrients in the coco that should he burning the plants.
"salt buildups" can happen with any food. You were right in assuming not to water till runoff everytime if your trying to feed with organics but coco is just not the best organic medium....its great to use as a base but if your going full dry food organics then you need more soil in there. BEFORE you said your ppms were 1600 , i was going to recommend a synthetic food to fix your issues. (and i still will if your problem does not fix itself after ppm being at 6-800 for a few days or so)
I have a feeling you are on the right track listening to alphonso. That should fix the ph issue thats causing all this. If it dont , then they are not eating the dry food or its gone. top dress with something fast release right away! or use something synthetic so you KNOW its getting used or not.

i agree that he was questioning answers at the right time and they disreguarded. but i also believe he is on the right track now. i dont think his coco was alive enough to begin with so i dont think its hurting anything..... i may be all wrong.

No I shouldn't have flushed it made things worse. I waited until the medium dried out before watering again and continued to monitor the soils PH. I was able to power through the rest of the grow and get a half desent harvest to make some medicine for my mom.

I have done 2 more runs since then. Still using coco with Gaia Green. I have been using 3 gallon pots to flower in instead of 5 gallon pots and have had no issues at all. (Love the stuff super simple, water when dry) I agree that I probably should have done a tea instead of flushing.

Pic below of my last run. Nice resin production and great finishing colours

Glad to hear you were able to make it out alright on your own! That last run looks decent ! It was baffling to me reading everyone giving information on something they clearly weren't familiar with :/

Also I originally was searching this thread for the answer to pH issues lol, can I ask what pH you've found to work well? I was using strips and keeping it around 6.5 and now using a bluelab I have it at 6.6 and I'm seeing yellowing now. Frustrating to go from beautiful green to a yellow mess in 2 weeks lol

For Coco with Gaia Green I keep the PH at 6.3 during Veg and 6.5 half way through Flower. I also bought a Bluelab soil ph tester and check the coco once a week. If I notice the coco ph is out of wack I adjust my water ph until coco is in the right range. Expensive ph meter but well worth the investment.

If your doing organics then whats the problem? you shouldnt need to ph anything.
If they were all wrong then what were you going to say ?

If you'd read my replies I stated how to fix it. If you read the original poster he stated that the information given was wrong. Thanks though bud
