Gosh man, trying to understand what you're talking about is difficult.

You have 1,200 posts, yet you haven't learned anything on RIU about drying your plant? I'm a little confused.

You hang the plant until the outside of the plant is dry, the inside still moist. The stem should bend, almost snap. If you let it dry until the stem snaps, you've over dried your weed.

After this happens (outsides are dry/insides still moist, stem bends and almost breaks), put the buds into jars, and let sit for 12 hours, then open the jar, remove all the buds, and let them air out for an hour.

Do this for the first few days, every 12 hours or so, then just open the lids of the jars and don't take the buds out after that. Let it cure like this for several weeks. This is important, as the weed loses chlorophyll and CBD's chemically change into THC, making the bud mature with a stronger UP high.

this was right till the bs at the end, CBDs and chlorophyll dont turn into THC, the chlorophyll evaporates, and CBDs are in the plant regardless, THC turns to CBN if you let it decompose by picking it later for a more stoney high. If you mean CBG then yes, partially, the acidic non psychoactive form of THC in the moisture of the stems and bud must be dried in order to receive the psychoactive properties.

Basically if you clip them like wishbones, clip out and remove the fan leaves, trim and save the sugar leaves for hash, and hang the trimmed branch on a line in a dark closet. This takes about a week

You can also clip them like you were about to smoke them, and place them on a mesh screen, pull the screen tight and hang it or make a shelf out of it, so air can get above and below the buds. this will dry faster but can have a more harsh smoke if you do not jar them and use the method above after 2-3 days of drying. faster drying leaves chlorophyll and does not taste as smooth.

Curing is great and I prefer to do it like "someone else", and jar them right before they are perfectly dry, this will make them all dry the same speed, and opening it and turning them or taking them out will prevent mold-do this for about a week but i have friends who clip it hang it and keep a cigar humidifier and keep it at 20% humidity so it doesnt dry out too fast, and just come get it after 2 weeks, stems break and all, but they are perfect. its a newer hippy method.
