PNW question

Hello all - first time outdoor grower, though my sweetie grew indoors in the previous century (not much talk about trichomes back then...) I have two plants in the garden, both started from bag seed - from Southern Oregon. We started the seeds under lights, and then set 'em out. Our timing was off, which wasn't a bad thing because they went into flower and we culled the males! One gal has been showing her flower parts the whole summer, the second one just started showing her lady bits about a week ago. My question has to do with morning dew and the potential for bud rot: something I should worry about, or not? I'm in the Willamette Valley. I jigged up a mini, one plant hoop house for the predicted rain that didn't happen for us, but I would rather not leave that up for the rest of the grow: hard ass'ed next door neighbor that I don't want to engage on this topic. Plant #2 that has just started flowering: 6'ish weeks puts me into October... I'll cover her at the end - I don't want to loose the fruits on my labor. But this time of year, we can get some pretty heavy dew overnight, and if I need to tuck them in every night, that's what I'll do. Well... Dew or not you always have to worry about bud rot! It's a tough one cause it's develops from the inside out! If it gets wet you can gently shake the plant and hope no water soaked inside the bud.
I've lopped off huge sections of bud because of rot... It's like amputating a limb because you have a cancer, better to be safe and take more of the bud than just where you see some rot.
Keep an eye out for PM too! I spray Bloom Khaos daily up to flower.. And once a week I add Neem oil... Really helps!!

I know a lot of people end up with rot but in a place like where I live it rains just about every day, sometimes all day, though we still get sunlight even when it's raining. Never had an issue with budrot. However, I may have just gotten lucky and got rot-resistant strains.
