That's why I use Recharge, if you don't have access to good worm castings that are fresh, it's the next best thing I've found for a reasonable price to establish decent microbial growth in your soil. I've had good luck with Recharge and a 35 dollar bag has lasted me over a year with about half left. I'd still like to find a good local source for worm castings to add beneficial insects and compost but it seems to carry most of the load using it once a week through week 5 of flower. I also top dress using dry amendments.
