Bud rot is brown, you have mold, another fungus. You can't kill the spores, inhaling them into your lungs is a very bad idea. It looks to me like it's all over that bud. I'm so sorry.

What's your RH and circulation setup?
 
Hi new to all this so rh? Circulation I have 2 fans set at different heights, 4""extractor and free airflow through bottom, and ahh humidity rh not sure tbh
 
Got one and now see why I got Mold! So bit more investment needed, so how do you folks keep the rh down, and any tips for deep cleaning don't want that again it's heartbreaking to have to loose them at such a late stage.
 
Invest in baking soda it's a natural dehumidifier also, keep the air moving, add an extra fan if you can....hope that helps....
 
When lights go off RH rises sometimes pretty high.Dehumidifiers only work if the outside air is low.They also make a lot of heat.Air conditioners also remove humidity.
