police helicopter hovering around my house

there was a copter a few minutes ago, i have 2 65w bulbs on i know it aint alot but you never know these days with technolgy, is this enough for them to see anything, i could see the spot light facing another way in the gardern, but after i put my head at the window it put the light at my window but as it was turning so the light was on my face directly and then it just went. the thing was out there for like a good 4minutes or something and when i decided to look the light was facing somehere else, and then it turned to my window as it was turning to go and went. can they still use infared while the spot light aint facing you? should i just rip the plant up im just paranoid now =/

roumor as it you can have up to 1000w befor they can see , i ave 1000w and the chopper is over all the time i havnt had a problem , but never get sloppy coz that is what gets you caught good luck

If the chopper was pointing it's light directly on you, I'd be smokin as much as I could, and destroying the rest. That's some scary shit. You sure you weren't just high as fuck?

2 65w bulbs? they wont know wtf its for. could be lighting for a room. i think they look more for the HID lights which produce a lot of heat. i get helicopters that fly by my house every fall. good friend of mine who doesnt even smoke gets the same thing. your probably being too paranoid. pisses me off how they fly so low, it scares my dogs. sometimes i wish i had a rocket launcher.

wait a second. the choppers fly over your house and can tell if you are growing by shining a light at what?

LMAO. + rep. You must be smoking some good shit..... Dude no helicopter is gonna use a spot light when they are using the infared to find grow ops. That would give it away that they were on to you. Prob looking for someone that ran from them in your neighborhood.

The only time a police helicopter can detect your grow is when your plants are outside or if they use thermal imaging to spot the heat from hid lamps. It is important to know that the thermal imaging can only see the exaust from hot air being vented from an indoor grow to the outside. They cannot see through walls! If they have the spotlight on then they are definitly looking for someone that recently commited a crime, probably on foot. You have nothing to worry about with the ghetto birds-just keep your grow a secret and you will be just fine.

Consider that nearly every household in the U.S. uses those same bulbs to light their home.

i got a plant by my window, police choppers fly by weekly, no biggie, hell there was a giant convention of cops (not really, they were doing some forensic shit) in the complex behind my house, where the window is facing. tons of cops, with a pot plant facing them. i couldnt help but smoke a bowl with my baby and laugh at them piggies.

Anyway, I don't get why people growing small-scale are afraid of these choppers.
Infrared = heat. Not X-rays!
