(Poll) Lightning 4'x8'. 1000w HPS or 315CMH+600w HPS?

I'm actually serious. If you can deal with the heat and electricity. I'd put the 1000 in the middle, and the other 2 kinda angled at the ends.

The only right answer here is a question. Is this for full cycle, or flowering only?
Flowering only, people can and will argue each way. Rightfully so. I went 1000w hps but I know I'm eventually going to supplement UV with cmh or aquarium tubes. But one can argue that the 85w is more than made up for with the cmh's extra spectrum and efficiency of the 600w.
But if we're talking for full cycle grow.. it's gotta be the 600&315. I do not miss the days of full cycle hps grows

I'm just having trouble trying to decide how best to manage a 4'x8' flower tent running 2 plants, all medium/tall size strains, with a 10ish week veg time, Scrog with the best coverage but least amount of "unneeded" light.
I have a 315cmh, 2-600hps and 2-1kW hps availible to use, I just can't decide how to best utilize them...1-1kW? 2-600w? 600/315?
I don't expect to fill "all" of the tent per se, but... who knows.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Just insinuating that the poll options aren't really appropriate for the space. Probably toss them all in there but the coverage areas of the 315 and 600 aren't really ideal for a 4 foot width.

Each 1kW SE is great over a 4x4, two and you nailed a 4x8. Use the other lights for veg perhaps, they are each good for a 3x3 (315 a cunt hair less and 600 a cunt hair more).

Yeah I didn't answer the poll either. With the 600 or 315 he's sacrificing the 6 inches on each edge, just not good for the 4 foot width, unless just vegging.

I do agree it's a bit biased. I do have 2- 1kW I have in there atm, but even with Gorilla Glue, Blue Dream, Granddaddy Purple and White Widow, I don't see 1 plant producing 1000 grams so 2x 1kW seems like overkill to me no?

I see a 4x4 making 1000 grams easy. I wouldn't be happy with less, the scrog means you will fill the 4x4, one plant or 50, should get 1000 grams. I pull over 4 pounds a plant with each having a 4x4 but I have the area to side light adding the side canopy.

I don’t know, I have a 600 and a 1k de in 6x6 and would like to do a 1k and put 2 315s in there or 2 1k’s

Any of those is under lit for 36 sqft. Thing about a 6x6 is you really would do best with 4 x 600 or 4 x 315 or a mix. The square footprint of the lights means each gets a 3x3.
