I agree everyone needs to get involved in some way. And local politics is the only way someone might
be able to force some change. But the main problems are federal and until some sort of sea change
in public opinion happens nationally... what can one do? There really isn't a third party that gets to
participate or get coverage. Unfortunately if you ask some friends or neighbors, the consensus is
still they don't really have a problem with it.
The power of the people is in signatures in passing ballots and voting at a local level.
Bottom up change. Just like change in cannabis laws...
