Pollinated Auto's

Ok so here's what happened and I can't find an answer while searching.

I had three different strains S.A.D, NLxbb and two auto strains in the same room alone with a non auto bag seed strain that was very good so I decided to give it a shot. Of course the bag seed hermied and prego'd all of my plants FML. I know this will give me reg seeds in the other plants but what about the auto's? Will they be auto seeds?

If im not mistaken bro and the plant that was bag seeds was female but hermied then all the seeds shud be female. But what ur sayin is it wasent female it just hermied so the seeds from the other plants are reg? Just askin a question really

They will have the gene for autoflowering. There's no guarantee that the autoflowering trait will be 100%. Ever heard of people buying autos and having to turn the lights to 12/12 to get them to flower? That's why good breeders cross plants with stable genes.

I think you can figure out your chances if you do a punnet square. Then again I failed the genetics portion of biology in college, so take from that what you will.

The plant that hermied was a female for 3 weeks into flower. So will these be female seeds? I understand the punnet concept that they may or may not be auto now that you mention it. I guess my question now is if a female plant hermies and pregs another female are the seeds auto female?

no they will not be fem seeds.. if your plant hermied at 3 weeks with out help its a straight up hermie...now if it was week 8-9 and it popped 1-2 random naners them yes those should be girls...

as far as that plant crossed with a auto it will make regular seeds with a tendency to hermie and they will not be autos...you have to do multi-breedings to get the recessive auto gene to come through...

I'm going out on a limb and say if your auto's produced 100 seeds and you grew the 100 seeds out to maturity, a couple may start flowering after only a few weeks old.

Aye bro it cud have been a female and u caused it to hermie some how well then all the seeds from the other plants wud be female. But the hermie wud have hermie seeds.
