Does the whole plants produce seeds when pollinated or just the pistils that we’re pollinated?

Until it is dead.. If you are looking for decent seeds i would guess 5 weeks after pollination to be enough time

All the information I have seen says to pollinate at about week 3 of flower & maybe the following week, which I did, when there was plenty of nice pistols, using a small paint brush ,but the rest of the bud just kept growing & now there is heaps of bud unpollinated , does this matter

not really you can keep painting if you want but you'll have to wait longer for it to finish
just leave it now

Good luck to whoever is trying to make seeds. I’m attempting a reversal again. This time there may be hope. Not counting on it. If there’s seed in the plant I had in there with the reversal, the next run I do with them should be interesting.
First pic is of a bud I believe is seeded, below that is one I believe is not. I ran the same clone a few times. The structure on that first pic is different than the other grows, and there’s quite a number of tops that look like that. Fingers are crossed.
