jefff I am just curious here. Do you vote in US elections? If you do I was wondering if you actually thought John McCain was a legitimate option. I mean could you imagine him leading the country through the last two years better then Barack Obama has done?

I will tell you that I think Obama is way too close the wall street and Goldman Sachs.

All I hear over and over is how crappy the President or Congress is doing. Though I do believe there is major issues that need to be dealt with, myself I do not have clue one of how to fix it.

Most issues from the outside look so easy to fix, but once you dig into it there are many layers.

The one item that possibly could help is to get rid of of all piggyback resolution, keep the bill just for what it is..

Even with all this crap slingling we still live in a country that I AM DAMNED PROUD OF!!!!!!!!!!!

How complicated can the Patriot Act be? What about the numerous other simple things that need to change in this country that our politicians refuse to do? I for one am not proud of this country until it returns my rights that were declared by the founders of this nation. This is not the America it once was. Remember, our politicians are like CEO's, amazingly skillful at making it look like their are working their asses off for your benefit.

The Patriot Act? This Cop's wet dream of a bill is actually made up of hundreds of small changes to existing laws. For example the specific law that requires the FBI to submit a letter requesting permission from a judge to tap a phone was changed so the FBI can send the request AFTER the wiretap is in place. This is even though in the 35+ years since the law requiring a letter has been on the books only 1 of hundreds of requests were ever turned downed by a judge.

And now Obama is widening these breaches of our civil rights put in place in the hysterical months after 9/11.

I love that the Pres can declare anyone he wants, US Citizen included, as a enemy combatant. Stripping you of all rights ( Impossible) and then having you duly assassinated or sent to prison for life without parole, without a lawyer, without ever having to be found guilty of anything.

I mean even the most liberal of reporters can hardly stomach such a tyrannical power.

Who is accountable for the 2 $500 checks I received while (Obadiah? ) Obama was in office?
Who is accountable for the 3/4 $Trillion bail out? Now they want 2.4 $Trillion more? Do you live on a budget? The executive branch (525?) people need a reality check? Balance the budget NOW!

Well BendBrewer this is twice now that I have seen you be an ass about the constitution to someone including myself but it sees to me when I do my research you just seem to have a creative way of putting a spin on what it actualy says. With that being said, unless it exactly says what you spit out I would keep my mouth shut, opinions are like assholes everybody has one. The document is what it is and not open to interpretation.

To answer another another question, yes I thought John McCain could have done a better job. Why? Many reasons, below are a few.

1. Has a better understanding of the political system
2. Served his country
3. Can be proven he is a citizen
4. He owns his home
5. He has a pretty good voting record ( granted you can't please everyone )
6. People know who he is ( He didn't just come out of nowhere )
7. He doesn't have radical views against his country
8. His wife is not a racist
9. He wouldn't bow to Muslim Countries
10. He wouldn't make appologies and excuses for who we are as a country.

Granted he is not perfect but is is far better than what we have now.

Obama's home in Chicago is not owned by him but rather contributors

He has virtualy no expierence to speak of.

His voting record is crap

He still to this day can't provide deffinative proof of his citizenship

He attended a racist church for 20+ years

His wife admits to no being proud to be American until his election

The list goes on and on yet people still are drinking the kool-aid and hoping they may get something for nothing out of him. People need to start researching candidates before they vote instead of just taking all of them for what they say.

DEMOCRATS:

Want more goverment control in everything and make their fortune off of the ignorant working man not the educated. Out of the richest of our public officials Democrats represent the largest number.

REPUBLICANS:

Want less goverment involvement in everything and make their fortune off the businessman.

You put them both together and they are all getting rich off all of us and will keep doing so until we stand up and take action against the injustice they are dealing out daily.

Listen Mame it is no secret that you and BendBrewer are cheerleaders for Obama, but what I posted is fact not opinion for the most part. With the reasons I stated for Voting John McCain I answered a question someone else put out there. That being put aside, it is fact that Obama's residence in Chicago is or until recently was owned by some of his major political funders. It also fact that still to this point he has not provided difinitive proof of his citizenship. It is a fact that he never served his country. It is a fact that he attended a radical racist church for over 20+ years. It is a fact that John McCain has more expierence in the political realm than Obama. It is a fact he bowed to the Saudi's and apologized to the muslim world for America being who we are.

As far as the other things I listed they were important to me, as in his voting record and past stances on issues that I feel are important. The key is that I voted based on expierence and past performance, I could have cared less for his platform. Unless you were born yesterday or you are really stupid you should know by now that they tell you what you want to hear to get the vote demo and rep alike.

The President of the United States is a clear result of the moral decay and false sense of entitlement that this country displays today.
