And then there is this -

The best inoculation I have yet found - each syringe will now hold millions of active hyphae. Find yourself a decent blender. The ones where the blades are in a screw assembly that happens to fit a quart jar. Sterilize the water in that jar, put your agar in there and spin it up.

now this is just colonize agar right? so essentially your just puree ing mycelium...

yep basically. maybe adding some sterile ingredients like water and some food.

If you were to grow the hyphae out for a few days and make this stuff even more potent - seeing that the hyphae will grow at both ends, little multiple growths and be more capable of instantly growing when it lands on good substrate - then sure, but I don't do it that way, I just spin it up, draw it into a syringe and put 10 to 15 ccs in a jar. That mycelium is oyster and it is intended to go directly into highly shredded palm fronds bypassing spawn material so I am using 120 ml per bin.

That's it - oh, and realize that the agar itself has some untouched nutrient in it as well that has been dispursed - it is likely that you need no more if you were to grow that out for a few days - I havn't tried that yet though.
