poping and hissing when I smoke it?

I recently came across a large amount of harsh green which pops and hisses when i smoke it. The green thumb said that they think it was due to tap water. I was thinking maybee they dident flush the nutrients and used the wrong ones also. Has anyone had a batch turn out like this and know why

Hey I also came across some stuff that crackled kinda like rice crispies when smoked.. wonder why it did that?

I have had that in the past too on some supposid good stuff... I didn't think so, but anyway I did some research when I had it and found it may not have been flushed all the way. I may have too much magnesium in it, or other minerals/metals from the nutes. Mine was a bit harsh on taste, the ash was very dark or black and you could hear it fizzle and see sparks as it burnt. I have since stayed away from that source.

Def sounds like it wasn't flushed properly. My buddy came over the other day with some bud he grew raving about how there are so many trichs it pops when you light it - silly kid had dope ass bud but god damn ruined it by not properly flushing. Like alwaysdizzy said, magnesium is a bitch.

im sold on the flushing . wasnt to sure since im a newbie but it was the only thing that made sence to me to. thanks for the reasurance and im def not grabbing anymore of that shit. thanks again to everyone on the feed back
