I just got my can fan and filter and was hooking that up.
I did some room cleaning and got everything fired up.
I turned my light back on to resume it's light cycle.
However, when I unplugged my fan which is sharing the same circuit, it tripped my gfci breaker. I reset the breaker and plugged back in my light (it had only been running like 10 minutes), it won't come back on. Usually when I plug in my light or when my light starts up, it makes kind of a low "clunk" sound and then does it light buzzing sound. This time though, I didn't hear any sound, but the light just kind of glows a really dim blue.
Right now I plan on resting it for an hour and trying it again.
In the mean time, I thought I would post this to get some ideas on what happened and what I did wrong. My circuit is only running at about 8 amps right now. I'm not sure why unplugging the exhaust fan would cause my breaker to trip. I was playing with the fan the other day and plugged and unplugged it and nothing like this happened.
The only other thing I did today with the light was take the cool tube down to clean it, but that was just a very small tad of windex which was allowed to dry, and then sprayed with the air hose.
Any ideas? I'm really freaking out right now about this.
Thanks
