Possible Broad Mites

Using Bcuzz Mix (has unfortunately been open sitting next to miracle grow)
Advanced Nutes PH Perfect
600w
temp in low 80s
low humidity (around 20% RH) but been working to increase it close to 30%

I can see lots of small dots on the underside of the leaves, something I've never noticed before. These are definitely not spider mite eggs, as I have had my fair share of those in the past and can easily identify them.

I'm also dealing with severely twisted leaves which I originally thought could be PH, but I got a new batch of nutes and I think PH has been ruled out. I'm now thinking this could be a symptom from some type of mite.

I was thinking about trying Avid for russet mite treatment, but the cheapest I can find is $90

Anybody seen the undersides covered in little dots like this? How about the twisted leaves? Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Twisted leaves like that could be a normal flaw in the plant. It looks like you have a calcium deficiency to me from those dots. Broad mites make the new growth super skinny like little spaghetti leaves and the almost new growth hook at the tips. Like on the tops, not off the stalk.

I should add, ppm has been around 600-800. I'm using tap water that reads about 150ppm before adding nutes

Thanks for the info Alien. I have been getting a lot of deformed leaves (single tips, 4 tips, etc.) I thought it was getting better when I changed nutes, but some of he new growth isn't looking too good again.

I have been adding very small amount of CalMag incase either of those are lacking (But I'm using tap water and I've been told I shouldn't need to add cal/mag). When I get a chance I'll post picturesd of some of the deformed new growth.

Use calmag every time you feed. Such a common deficient pair that cal and mag. Whoever told you not to use it should be junk punched. It may yet be a broad mite problem but add more calmag anyway.
