Possible hermie?

So my last grow they went hermie on me and had seeds etc the smoke turned out not too bad in the end. I think they stressed from thrips as had a bad infestation.
Had some new ones in there with the last grow and they look like as seen in the pic. Premature orange hairs etc and one of them had seeds which I threw. These ones don’t have seed yet but I read online that if the tips of the hairs go orange it could be pollinated? Just wondering whether to start again. Has anyone hit any tips for what i shoukd do ? Thanks in advance

Have you made some serious clean up between the runs? Watered everthing down, bleached, sprayed, vacuumed etc…? You still have thrips and if this is your new run, you just carry consequences of your laziness. Calyxes have been already polinated, but you know that. Sorry for your lost brotha :bigjoint:

Looks stressed. Also looks like you have some sort of infestation. Pistils turning dark early can range anywhere from not a problem to pollination to you've been touching them.
If everything else is fine and the plant seems healthy, probably good to go. If the plant has problems it's possibly due to those problems. If you correct issues when first spotted you'll be fine.
What did you use to treat your thrip problem?

I’ve had them a while. I think I get rid and they come back, basically they got bad on the last one towards the end. But I add new plants to the flower room every 4 weeks so I get a harvest every month or so. And I think the last hermie lot must have pollinated the new ones. You think I shoukd cut my losses and completely blitz the room?

Hairs being orange doesn't mean pollination. If you are like me and have thrips in the spring/summer I recommend spraying plants with Spinosad (never spray on buds) but give them a good blast of it a couple times in veg and twice in flower, once when you flip and once 2 weeks in. This has eliminated thrips/aphids in the spring/summer. They can fly and are as small if not smaller than fungus gnats so even in a "sealed" grow it can happen.

As others asked I'd suggest you implement an IPM (Integrated Pest Management) *fancy words*
Basically, spray plants once a week stems, bottoms of leaves, tops of leaves with something like Plant Therapy, Green Cleaner, Athena IPM etc.. etc.... Personally I use plant therapy and stop fogging plants once budlets form.

Do your research and trial and error is your best friend. Also a good way to wipe out an active infestation of thrips/aphids is hammer the plants with zerotol (stabilized h2o2 or hydrogen peroxide) per instructions and it will fucking CRISPY FRY their asses. THEN spray your IPM product like plant therapy, athena ipm, green cleaner etc for prevention........

Thanks im looking to buy this stuff....The price of soybean oil, citric acid & peppermint extract have gone up eh? All that stuff is $100's of dollars for a gallon. Quite a hustle these companies got... wow!
