hey guys everyone has given me such good advice if i didnt do all of them at once i prob wouldnt be having this problem lol

some history: plants in 1 sqaure metre area under a 600 wt hps lights 12 inches away. was originaly planted in just organic compost with high alkalinity.

a few days ago the leaves started turning brown and curling upwards and falling apart to the touch i think it is due to changing the water schedual from watering every day to leaving it for 3 days without watering and stopping misting all together which was the only thing that was keeping the humidity over 20%rh and having to much exhaust and fans blowing.

i have 4 really good plants that are quite large with many leaves and a good green colour the rest seem to be pretty miserable yellowish and small. my solutions to the problem went like this.

i transplanted them into better soil high grade premium potting mix instead of organic compost i mixed it with a good amount of perlite to help drainage, i started using nutes dutchfest hygro A&B 10ml of each pr one litre watered every 3 days with this, i added one fan pushing air in from outside of the grow rooms room, i added a humidifier and am keeping humidity at around 40%rh on and off, i started misting again for the same reason, i removed a good amount of the dying leaves.

below are the nutes i have atm with detailed ingredients but am only using two would love to hear some advice on if i should be using a different one.

clonex rooting hormone gel indole butyric acid

dutch fest hygro bloom A total nitrogen 4.0% / nitrate nitrogen 3.9% / amonium nitrogen 0.1% / potassium 3.5% / calcium 3.0% / iron 0.05% / maganese 0.025% / boron 0.0027% / copper 0.0057% / zinc 0.03% / molybdenum 0.004%

Dutch fest hygro bloom B phosphorus 4.0% / potassium 8.0% / magnesium 1.2% / sulphur 1.9%

hydro plus mega bud plus phosphorous 22.9% / potassium 28.7%

and what im using now is Dutch fest hygro A total nitrogen 2.9% / nitrate nitrogen 2.7% / ammonium nitrgoen 0.1% / potassium 6.0% / iron 0.05% / magnese 0.0025 / boron 0.0027% / copper 0.0057% / zinc 0.03% / molybdenum 0.004%

B total nitrogen 2.0% / nitrate 2.0% / phosphurus 1.0% / potassium 1.2% / magnesium 0.9% / sulphur 1.8%

below are some images taken recently after i resolved the humidity issue and are looking alot better but still with issues PLEASE HELP ME! when they die i die a little bit inside lol

Do you have animals in your house i see looks like a hair of some sort on pic 23. The reason i point that out i have cats and i always end up having there hairs in my plants even though they are upstairs and away from the garden. In reference to your issues i would go up to lowes or home depot and buy a soil test kit to find out what levels your phosphorus nitrogen and Ph levels. Always do one thing at a time until the plant stops growing and looks like its about to die than get drastic but until than just change things slowly the plants will react much better. I had a similar issue my plants PH was at 7.8 so i was getting nute lockout also i have hard water. make sure to boil all water before and if ph is high try watering with ph water of 6.0 -6.5 that should help get your soil back to normal. Dont use nutes for a while until you test the soil nute levels. One of these testers will only run you 10 to 12 dollars its worth its weight in gold!

the taco-ing, or upward cupping, is usually heat. the other looks like serious nute burn and also nutes splashing on leaves when poured in.

the setup sounds ok but the photos show something is wrong. It looks like you would water by hand , no pumps or reservoirs. I water by hand too except I have the 400 watt. automatic watering like a flood table and/or drip system might work and they are easy to set up.
If you leave them for even a couple days under that light with no attention again some probably won't survive. try watering heavily leave them in an inch of water for a half hour, then drain the water and let them dry out once or twice a day. you are over fertilizing or watering (neglecting?) in a way that you might not make it to any harvest but don't give up

you dont think ill get to harvest???? after i changed some of these things the leaves became alot fuller and healthier even the dying ones but i did remove the dying ones now and am hoping that i dont see any new dead growth@! i hope i didnt remove too many i took of like 3 of the biggest leaves on my largest most damaged plant in picture three. and i removed a few on the smaller plants.

the plants are growing heaps of new leaves tho and seem to be really resilient might be the strain i donno since i have no idea what strain they are.

YES I DO have cats lol and they live quite close! does this cause a problem? No more nutes for me im giving them a break for the rest of the week!

keep it real.

Nute burn stop feeding and check ph less is more. Move your lights back a few inches until they are healthy again with high nute levels your plants cannot handle the heat very well, if you cannot fix the heat problem I would look into silicon supplements. It will make your girls hung like a horse they will be brutes.

I run my 600hps 16-18 in from the tops of the plant even with a air cooled hood and fans blowing over the canopy.

the soil ph was at 7 1/2 i added sulphur to the soil to drop it to 6 but am waiting on the effect should take a few weeks unfortunetly i didnt use one you can put straight into water it had to go directly on the soil and watered it throughi stopped feeding clipped all the dying leaves off raised the light flushed the soil and started misting again, had RH at 40% very happy with that! new humidifier works great! now they are looking really healthy even the one i thought would die is perking back up so they started looking alot better and sprouting alot of new leaves. BUT now some of them are getting black spots on the leaves so today i stupidly thinking it was a deficency fed them with a very mild amount a quater of the recomended dose of nutes A&B prob about 5mls of each with two liters of water spread out acroos all plants. heres the big question should i flush them again since i added the sulphur and the nutes????please help i know im shitty at this but am learining as much as i can its just that i am acting to quickly on theories!thanks guys

Okay I didn't see this post. Flush then leave them alone . Your killing them it's not that difficult. Feed when they need water once a week your rh was fine but the humidifiers Okay. Feed everyother watering or water water feed water. Don't spray them until there fine unless you get lockout because it looks like something your spraying them with is fucking them up.
