So in my carelessness while defoliating near the top, I end up accidentally tearing the crown off of the plant (see pic for exact result of the remainder of the stalk).
I've attempted to move the crown (almost instantly) into a new pot as if it is possible to clone it. Obviously this pot and soil was not prepped beforehand, but is composed of light soil & perlite. I added some rooting powder in the hole for contact, and watered till moist. Now the pot is soaking in the sun on the roof.
Maybe someone can shine some light for me on some questions:
