Hey guys , long time no post. Im finally planning my first gurilla for next season and im thinking about what im going to do when harvest time comes around. I was thinking i could build a wooden box 8 feet long, 2.5-3 feet wide and 2 feet high with string strung inside as a platform for the harvest to lie on while drying before i throw the buds in jars. The box would either be put under ground and covered with a layer or 2 of earth or blended in with the forestry. Id love to put it under ground so i can avoid the box being in direct sunlight causing inside temps to rise. So i ask you, what do you think about this? Has anyone tried something along these lines? I was also curious on what i should use to absorb the moisture expelled by the buds while drying. I remember reading that carbon filters were prime to filter out the smells of flowering plants indoors so would that mean they are porous and could absorb moisture aswel? Or is there something else i should look into for moisture absorbson because this is one of the most key ingredients in the drying process so id love to be able to get it right. I would also be burping the box 2-3 times a week at least checking for mold, rotating the harvest and putting in new moisture absorbson pucks/ what ever i decide to go with. Im currently sitting with 50+ unknown strain seeds (obvs mixed) but the bud they came from was very potent and smelt great so i have decent hopes in terms of quality of bud since i know it wasn't some horrible china. More than likely ill be purchasing some seeds online with attitude as well, i just haven't decided what strains ill be going with. Thanks abunch!
