Thanks, for the help guys I'm gonna lower them down when I start flowering first time using this 400watt system so just making sure I don't burn em. It's just an econo wing no inline cooler right now so just airing on the cautious side. They are in their 3rd week of flowering going to go for either 4 or 5 weeks trying to make em into some xmas trees.

Well don't forget that a 400w light will have a max distance of 60cm minimum abt 25-30cm. Lots of pruning underneath or more watts!

Was considering topping them to keep em from getting too tall aiming more for short and bushy they are only about 8in tall at the moment no signs of stretching. Don't have much pruning experience would it hurt to trim off a few fan leaves so the nodes can get some more light? In the past I have done a lot of LSTin this time was just going to top and let them grow straight up.

If you do I wouldn't do very many at a time if you take any off. I used uncle Bens method of topping to get 4 colas worked well

Yeah, have read uncle Ben's post a lot and I'm going to go with this method for topping. I have been reading up a lot on pruning I think if anything I'll just trim a few off to get some more light penetration, or might just bend them 1 good time so their is more even light distribution, and I can maximize my yield thanks again for all the advice.

when i wanted more light penetration i would cut some of the big fan leaves not take them off completely. Like cut the about half of the tips off. i dont think it stressed it as much as taking whole leaves off

Wouldn't that just cause the plant to expend more energy trying to regrow the half cut fan leaves?

So, I first posted what I thought to a be a potential plant bleaching problem. I now believe it to be some sort of nute problem my plants just went into flowering after 5 weeks of vegging so I hit them up with 1/4th solution of fox farm micro nutes the other plants seem to be responding well to it, but this one seems like it fried about 3 or 4 of the leaves. Just need some advice on what yall might think it is any help is greatly appreciated.

I had what I think was bleaching before on the very top cola leaves. The leaves on mine were yellowing in the middle but surrounded by healthy looking green on the edges. I moved the light up a little and althought they never recovered they never became worse either. Hope you figure it out.

Anyone have any ideas? Still having this prob and cant really find a root cause for it all the other plants are doing fine so im not sure why just this one is having this problem.

That plant looks like it's STARVING! 5 weeks in and just got it's first 1/4 strength feeding? Poor thing needs food!

I'm an organic guy, so it makes me cringe to say this...but... if your sticking with the Fox Farms, I'd hit it with half strength Grow Big PLUS half strength Tiger Bloom.

I will post a pic of the whole girl when the lights go off in a little while, but yea it started from the bottom and has been working its way up. I just watered today with plain water next watering I will hit it with some grow big and tiger bloom. This is my first time ever going 5 weeks vegging so its all kinda new to me usually only veg for 2 or 3 weeks and never seen an actual starving plant, but hey you gotta make mistakes to learn. Thanks for the advice Spicy.

Actually no the one having problems is the runt of the litter. Growing Blue Dream, Headband Kush, and Himalayan Skunk the skunk is the one having problems. They all broke ground within a day of each other the other ones are looking good except for 1 leave on the headband that got a bit crispy also my first time using a 400watt HPS and had the light a little too close.
