Hey RUI community,
Trying to figure out exactly what's wrong with my girls.
Just picked up a couple clones from my local dispencery. I've had them for 5 days and I've already ran into a couple problems. Before transferring the clones to my tent I've wiped the tent down from head to toe in hydrogen peroxide. I've had 0 pest issues as well my previous grow.

These pictures were taken 5 days after I picked the clones up. (they seemed healthy when I baught them minor bending down at the tips of the leaves)
Medium: vital organics lite mix from a local grow shop.
Temp: 75f
RH:60-70%
Strain: obama kush
Growing: indoor
Nuttiants: no nutes so far, just ph water
Ph: 6.2
Water schedule: so far just once. 1 gal of ph water between 3 pots
Transplanted: 2 days ago into 3 gal pots
Let me know if I left out any crucial information.

If anyone can help me diagnose what's wrong with the girls or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appriciated!

Had them early last month. I did 2 applications of Spinosad. I used a generic product, rather than Monterey. It’s a little cheaper. Sprayed first application, drenched and sprayed second time 4 days later. Stressed plants some. Needs a dose of nitrogen

The 1st pic looks like a trip
The adult stage of the bug, will leave a silver film on the top of the leaf. I’m not seeing that, so I’m guessing they are in the soil.
I would dust the plants with DE or spray with something. Problem is they stay under the leaf when not eating , so make sure you spray under the leaves .
You can top dress with DE but the DE will only kill the adults, the larva are soft body.
Also they love love love moist soil, so let them dry a bit, but never let them dry out.

I run nano mites (pop poppers) they hunt out any soft body bug in the dirt, n eat them inside out.

Next watering check the run off for little bugs, I also watch the top to see if any bugs
Get pushed up to the top.

I had them once, now I use the nanos during the whole grow, and spray bug b gone in veg .

They could have come from where u got your clones or in your soil or from outside.

Even when I have no signs of bugs I keep up on everything thing, an oz of prevention is worth a pound of cure .

Quick follow up guys. Dipped my plant to the base in a Dr zhymes solution then follow that with a soil drench using the solution. Still looking like I'm getting a deficiency though..

Couple more updates on my plants environment.
I noticed the soils ph is right at 7. plan in bringing that down with the next watering. Seems my girls might have multiple deficiencies which makes me think it could be nutrient lockout? I've also noticed roots coming out of the buttom of my smartpot. (possibly from breaking the rootball up during transplant). Would it be worth replanting in deeper soil? the new growth is looking good but still has some burns on the tips. Here's some more pictures of what I'm looking at.
To the best of my knowledge I have a potassium and cal-mag deficiency. My plan right now is to use half stregth Botanicare growth with cal-mag nute to bring the levels up. (it's in a prefed soil that's suppose to last 4 weeks)

Glad to see you tackled your problem with the bugs. When I finally killed the thrips on my plants, they looked like they’d been through a war. They look recently watered or drenched so I’d wait on anything for right now. Burnt tips are curious because they do look deficient. Alas, I am of little to no help. Sorry man, good luck.

Could possibly be from my light. It got down to 14 inches away from canopy. I'm only running them 50-60% power right now though. Watered them about 3 days ago.

Thanks for sticking with me on this one frizfrazjaz.

If you were checking the soil PH with the meter in the 1st picture that is not an accurate way to check soil PH. I would not recommend using that info, those meters are OK for checking soil moisture but are not good for checking soil ph.

If the soil is any good it should buffer the ph. I never ph my water in my soil grows. I only ph the water from my hydro room. What soil are you using? Nutrients? Also not worry about the roots coming from the pot they will air prune that’s how they’re made. I have some that have roots all weaved in no biggie. Your looking like a few issues other than bugs. But let’s start with what your working with first.

The soil will buffer the ph quicker than ph’ing the water?

Generally if it’s good soil it will and as long as the ph isn’t something stupid like 3 or 4 or something equally on the high end of the scale like 10. I’ve never ph’d my water for my soil grows. It’s generally a waste in my view. I’ve never had an issue with ph. If everything else is on point ph is the last of your worries in soil.

I tried going without ph’ing my water, but my water was well above 8, as you mentioned. So, locking out nutes isn’t possible if your water is say, above 5 and below 8 in soil?

What was the oh of your water? How far above 8 was it? I'm doubting it was city water with my that high, am I right? I run nothing but my well water in my soil and in my rdwc room. What soil were you using? My thing is I try to keep my soil grow as simple as possible.

It’s definitely high for tap. As high as 8.5. 20-25 ppm. I add Cal/mag to every watering. Might start using dolomite lime. I agree about keeping it simple. And I suppose because I, didn’t ph, doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else.

Also I seen Pacific northern west on your profile. I lived in coupeVille,wa and I know most of admirals cove rocked a community well and was super high in minerals
Live in eugene Oregon blessed to have tap coming out at 7ph and 60ppm. Starting to think it could be over watering? I got these guys in 3 gals which might be a bit much for them right now. Watered tell run off last watering but the soil is staying moist for 5 plus days. I'm running vital organics soil(heard really good feedback on this soil, havnt ran into anyone having issue with soil. I did water it pretty sloppy last go around which may have caused the soil to become packed down.
Does anyone think that this could be an over watering issue or should I stay focused on deficiencies?
Getting ready to head to my local grow shop right now I'll snap a picture of the soil I'm using while there.

My well water comes out from my house now at 7.2 ph ppm is right at 200ppm.
