Possible to keep cool

If I go with this I know heat won't be an issue

High Tech Garden Supply

but I also hear the hps will produce much better results. Then again I don't want to spend all this money and not be able to keep temperatures down.

What kind of temps do you have inside your box?

Also what type of 4" fans are they? Just fans?

I want the best quality and the most yield possible. so i feel using a 250w hps or a 400w hps I will achieve that. Although using a 8bulb cfl t5 system i can get close to the same lumens as a 250w hps. and wont have any heat issues!

trying to figure out what to do....i need to make this decision asap!

I'm really leaning towards the 8lamp cfl t5 system right now.

id go with a 400w hps in a second and use a cooltube but i cant hook up the necessary loud ass fan it would need.

trying to find some input on just using 2 small fans on the cooltube. one intaking on one side, and one on the other side pulling it out....

Appreciate the pictures, and replies!

I think after talking to you I'll go with this light setup
Amazon.com: 250W HPS Super Sun System (BGH Ballast - Super Bulb): Home & Garden

Where did you get those fans you are using?

my mate got 1 from his work and i got 1 off ebay.just search for extractor fans or you can get them from diy shops cost between £10-£25 they r bathroom extractor fans not the best but ok.make sure you have your ballast outside the box cause they only add to the heat.

Sounds good. Going to order that 250W HPS and give it a go. If it doesn't work out I'll just return it and go with some T5 system until I have a bigger space
