the k number is usualy right on the white base (ballast) of the bulb. what ever they are you can work with that. are they 150 watts or equivelent to 150 watts. ( actual 42 or so)

they are 3000k 150 watt {40 watt}2600 lumens each....thx bonz...how many of these do u think i need?...and u have been such a great help .

no problem. instead of me telling you how many i will tell you how to figure it out so you know for future reference,and you learn more by doing it than just asking (but i dont mind) calculate your square footage of room. then you need minimum 1000 lumens per square foot. so say a 3x3x7 is 63 square feet-= 63x1000=63000

ok great...someone just told me they think the soft white is for flowering?/ wth?...im starting to get more confused by the minute lol

lower k number like 2500 to 3000 is for flowering and higher like 6000 to 7500 is for veg

ok correct me if im wrong...if i have 63 sq.ft at 2600 lumens..id have to buy like 24 of those???...sry i know im a pain in the ass....

no worries. thats why hps is the way to go for flowering. it`s realy cheaper,they realy aren`t that much to run. in a 3x3 room i would use at least 8 or 10 but for veg it should be 6500 k or higher. you could use what you have and add higher k bulbs to it.
