Post Germination Problems

So I've germinated 5 seeds using the paper towl method and distilled water. I let the tails get to between 1 and 3 inches and then plant them. Im using fox farm soils, a 600 watt hps that I keep at a distance of 3-4ft and 2 100w blue spectrum floro tubes to start the seedlings. But for some odd reason only one of the 5 seeds planted has actually sprouted. Its been btwn 1 and 2 weeks and nothing else has broken soil. Even the one that did sprout has its first set of leaves. why wouldnt these others be sprouting?

thats just plain weird, i dunno whats going on with your seeds... where did you get them from?

Whoa, you let them get way too long. They probably died. You plant them at 1/4 of an inch!

1 to 3 inches is reeeeally long

I usually let mine barely pop out, half inch MAX
