we had gotten our oldest plant as a gift, was a few weeks old, quite lanky with no growth on the lower half of her/it? stem, a week later it's new growth is coming in quickly. BUT it came with spidermites, today i sprayed with some epsoma organic 3n1 pest control. leaves curled after i sprayed them, i don't think they liked the sulfur but i watered it with half a gallon of water and some superthrive + turned the fan up a bit, leaves are significantly less curly now, hoping the others with straighten out soon. be checking for bugs later. those bastards. can you tell a plants sex before flowering or do you have to completely veg it first and wait til 12/12?

i'm also germinating a haze seed and a sour diesel, hoping they'll sprout soon so we can begin our lives together.

here are some pixxx

you have to admit, even if the leds might not work as well as the other types of light they sure do fucking look cool.

usually you can tell the sex until flowering unless youve vegged it to its max and it begins to force itself into flower. I dont think that pest control is good for marijuana. Neem oil and water with a drop or two of dish soap will keep those fucks away. good luck and Im waiting to see the results from those LEDs.

I heard if you take 3 full flavor ciggarettes and soak them in water overnight and then boil water for twenty minutes(without tobbacco in it) let coll down and add a drop of palmolive thenn spray plants, that works well.

Simple Soap Solution
2 Tbs. soap flakes
2 litre warm water
Dissolve soap flakes in water and apply directly to infested areas every 5-7 days. Note: Too much soap can cause burning on plants.
Pests affected: aphids, spider mites, and whiteflies.

Garlic Oil Spray
10-15 cloves of minced garlic
2 tsp. mineral oil
600 ml water
1 tsp. liquid dish soap
Soak garlic in mineral oil for 24 hours. Strain garlic out and add 600 ml water and 1 tsp. liquid dish soap. Mix thoroughly. Spray plants with this solution.
Pests affected: Aphids, spider ites, and whiteflies

haha exactly. thank you! i'm glad you think so. 14w per square which i KNOW is shit for flowering, i'll probably have to add another light when we switch schedules. or not, idk for the first try i dont really care as long as we go through it to figure everything out, this plant is like a test subject haha

I like how you refer to the grow as WE, But your right it is kind of a partnership between you and your plants....Some give and take from either sides.... Its a commitment no doubt. You got the idea. Nice outlook. Happy Learning!
