Dude, I watch a movie for entertainment. I critique every movie I watch too.. The majority of the time, the people who write a fictional script, do not actually believe the story.

I don't jump in to every thread, only ones I have a particular interest in. I am no more imposing anything on you than you are imposing anything on me. This is a open forum. You can just ignore what I say, you usually do anyways.. At least you don't address it, you just act all offended. You don't actually try to defend your claims.

It is not insulting to show someone in an open forum, an open discussion, that they are wrong and why they are wrong. I am not insulting you, I am pointing out the truth. If you are offended by the truth, that is your problem. If you could actually defend your claims and show them to be true, it wouldn't be an issue. I'm not being a dick, I'm just refusing to stand by and watch people spread misinformation as if it was fact.

In effect, all you've said here is "I want the right to be able to say whatever I want to say, and nobody else should disagree with me. And if they do, they aren't attacking what I said, they are attacking me personally".
I would love for you to actually listen to what I have to say, and maybe try to learn some critical thinking skills. Learn how to tell the difference between bald assertions and factual claims..

Maybe it wont be 200 million years, it may get us alot sooner, when i happened to make my daily stop at my favorite science based website this is what the top article sBillfish and tuna, important commercial and recreational fish species, may be more vulnerable to fishing pressure because of shrinking habitat, according to a new study published by scientists from NOAA, The Billfish Foundation, and University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.ays.
An expanding zone of low oxygen, known as a hypoxic zone, in the Atlantic Ocean is encroaching upon these species' preferred oxygen-abundant habitat, forcing them into shallower waters where they are more likely to be caught.
During the study, published recently in the journal Fisheries Oceanography, scientists tagged 79 sailfish and blue marlin with satellite tracking devices in the western North Atlantic, off south Florida and the Caribbean; and eastern tropical Atlantic, off the coast of West Africa. The pop off archival satellite tags monitored horizontal and vertical movement patterns. Researchers confirmed that billfish prefer oxygen rich waters closer to the surface and will actively avoid waters low in oxygen.
While these hypoxic zones occur naturally in many areas of the world's tropical and equatorial oceans, scientists are concerned because these zones are expanding and occurring closer to the sea surface, and are expected to continue to grow as sea temperatures rise.

In 2020(Approximately) there will be an oil crisis. Not some gulf spill but the fact that we used up carbon fuels quicker than they could replenish so we are left will little oil. Because of the populations lack of heeding to warning they didn't buy hybrid cars or fully electric cars. America, oil dependent as it is, will demand cheaper prices from the middle east despite little oil and desperation. Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, Yemen, etc. will be pressed and eventually occupied by US forces in need of oil. In the mean time, we need even more oil and we buy oil from some remaining drills in China, who isn't effected as much because of many bicycles and electric cars. China now profits from our desperation and middle eastern countries are PO'd. We have terrorist attacks weekly, China profits, America is frantic and gas is $20 a gallon.

Iran will launch multiple nuclear warheads on the US in defense of invasion in need for oil and the US will fire back with many times the amount of nukes. Iran will be destroyed and all other Nuclear bearing Middle Eastern countries will launch more nuclear missiles. Those countries are destroyed by US and it's allies.

China will now band with Russia, and North Korea to be united under a "common enemy" and China will wipe out the US and it's allies for good and China will be greatly destroyed.

Despite of China thinking all is over, it's not. Nuclear Radiation and Radiated clouds will block out the sun and the world's food sources will die. Also, along with that, no more CO2 or water vapor is retaining heat so the Earth gets very very cold. Humans die off along with most other animals. When I attack your ideas and your beliefs, I am not attacking you. I'm sure you're a great person and very friendly and kind.. But the things you say are not you, they are held to a higher standard, they are open for interpretation and criticism.

I would love for you to just address the context of what I said with out getting mad that I don't agree with you.. Let's talk about this, I make no claims on your personal character, I critique your words.

its got to do with the water level in the ocean and the earths various currents and water temps which bring oxygen to the areas its needed(cold water holds more oxygen than warm). also the runoff of nitrogen and phosphorus from farming and that sort of stuff cause a single celled plant that are basically just forms of the 2 building blocks of n and p explode in growth and they suck up oxygen when its dark like other plants and when they die the breaking down of their bodies by bacteria also use up oxygen, which can start a horrific almost unstoppable chain reaction. The ocean currents are also almost unstoppable once you hit a point. As for what specifically is causing it now is most likely a mix of them all. From what ive read and understand about it so far.

You completely missed the point of this thread. Even after I explained to you that the point was to see how many different versions of the apocalyptic story I could get. I asked in the original post for every kind that you can think of. I never once claimed any of it where true. So once again get off your high horse and let us have a discussion. 1 God is proven not to be real, people panic and %80 of the world kill themselves. The other rational %20 live happily ever after.

2 God proves himself to be real! but it's an obscure Hindu god with 8 arms and an elephant trunk. He chooses to kill all people who believed in another false god, %80 of the population dead in one swipe from his left ball. The rest live happily ever after.

3 Religious fundamentalists acquire mass amounts of thermonuclear weapons. They launch them all to hasten the biblical end times. They kill %70 of the earths population, the other %30 are religious fundies so they have no science or medical, they all die in a few months..

I could keep going..

I been trying to stay out of this really hard, but you know what makes me sick tym? When people are intolerant of others beliefs, something religion used to be very big on way back, your just as bad as the church/religions you keep going on about. If they want to believe in something more power to them, persecuting them because of what they believe is plain wrong. on your defense of you attacked their beliefs and not them, nonsense, utter nonsense. This is a open forum and you can say what you want, but personal attacks are not allowed.

Again, I'm surprised I have to keep saying this. If someone is telling lies, as if it is truth. I'm going to call them out on it.

Why should religion have any special pass? If I was someone was boasting that they like to enslave children and sell them on the black market, and that it is perfectly moral and legal, wouldn't you say something?
If someone was overtly racist and constantly spouted the superiority of their race, while claiming the inferiority of all other races, wouldn't you say something?
If someone told you voting for a certain political candidate makes you a Nazi and a jew killer, wouldn't you say something?

For once, I would love to see you actually address something I say and refute it without using a logical fallacy. Maybe something is wrong with your logic? Maybe it's time you take a look at your beliefs.. Or at least stop proclaiming them publicly..
