I've had a cutting, flower in four years, but I don't know what I did different. I have some for over eight years and had no flowers. I think gofers ate the roots, but they still live. Just no flowers. The ones that I had flower this year are in pots and are not crowded with extra dragon fruit plants. My friend, that I got the cutting from, has had no flowers in twelve years, but his are crowded and I think root bound in a ten gallon pot. My theory is that you need plenty of roots and a tall plant that gets a lot of sunlight. My plants in my side yard do not get flowers and they are over eight years old.

Thanks for the insight, mine are pretty crowed, so I'll try moving some to their own pots. (and wait a couple years)

yeah it looks like san pedro i should definitely test it while i am young enough haha i had this one for the last 10 years or so but who knows all these related cacti (sans magic) looks somewhat similar to san pedro. will update you guys when i try :)
