unless your green house is heated all winter, you'll need to bring them in. they won't need any light at all while stored for the winter.According to that map I'm on the border of 5-6.

looks like home to me! reindeer lichen and opuntia ficus everywhere.I have this patch I call GN. I've been to it every couple of three weeks all summer, and didn't notice this until today. Tells you how common it is for me to see cactus.

Oooo nice those look really healthy. You have the cuts on dry soil right?Cut these awhile ago now. They look like small pups. Any opinions@ihearAllView attachment 3833015The tops are grow in nowView attachment 3833016
Yeah soils dry. The cuts rooted about a week after callous. They are in a southwest window and are getting only 8 hours of sun light. Except for a few minutes when I flip the light on in the room they are in.. Do you think this are grandpa's ( large pup) or do they look active as what I was lead to believe they were.. Their suppose to be San Pedro'sOooo nice those look really healthy. You have the cuts on dry soil right?

Go back a few pagesHmm. considering the site. I thought it would be different cactus then the one's pictured....
the seedling does not look like l.williamsii at all. looks like a trich seed.
t. peruvianus is hard to find in stores outside of cali, but t. pachanoi is sold nation wide.
botswap and ebay are good for getting trich cuttings. ime and o, rainbow bridges do best on own roots but BE CAREFUL!!! they rot very easily. i used to water mine with an eyedropper.
l. williamsii seeds are pretty cheap, even free if you make friends on botswap. i'll see if i can find pix of some of mine...
