Post your pix of your least lighted plants

I don't under-light, so I don't have pics, but I can describe:

- they stretch like crazy
- the upper new growth tries too hard to grow, while lower stable leaves suffer
- in flower, stems are weak and if you do get bud, they fall over
- the plants always look like they are in a state of deficiency in late stages, because they aren't getting the energy they need

In essence, they look like shit and produce fuck all.

Promise.

Someone from RIU might be able to supply pics, but expect a bunch of "Google for yourself" responses.

Don't take offense to those though, they'll be sarcastically serious.

Thanks for the replies. I have googled it a bit and yeah I kindof knew that they would stretch, I just wanted to see someones screwups and their results; like if they got anything out of it after all. What is the least amount of light you have ever used?

I bet I could veg a plant with my string of 2.5 watt Christmas-tree LED lights, but it wouldn't get very big and would not flower

Why would you ask such a stupid question? are you thinking of using a 3 watt night light lamp for your grow?

Mr. Hyde: Im using limited light right now and im just curious.

How much light are you using now?
I have heard of people using as little as three 23 watt CFL (69 watts) for a grow, but the yield is small, maybe 7 to 10 grams. Normal standard is typically 100 watts per plant.
Dr. Jekyll

How limited are you curiously talking about, 9 watt CFL?
Mr. Hyde

My first grow was 90% under one 60w incandescent "grow" bulb. Somewhere into flower, because I had read a piece of shit book, I got the idea to add some red so I threw in a red flood light. She grew five feet tall and yielded about an eighth. Though it was better weed than the bud the seed came from.

these are some babby 'plants' that are growing under a poster of the sun, they are doing well I think View attachment 2931415

LOL thx for the laughs

Im using natural light, a 13watt CFL and a few incandescents. Im planning on buying more floros or CFLs towards the middle of vegging. right now they arent actually looking too bad with this but they are babies with one node.

Found a couple pics of my disaster. Wasn't she beautiful :-) Also had root rot there from me bottom feeding and never letting the drain pan get empty. I had forgotten about the flouro "grow" light I had added.
