Post your Spider Farmer Led grows.

Start week 5, Disco biscuit super lemon haze.Starting to get flecks of purple in the bud now,because i used hps lights and no ac over the years.I have struggled to get any color into any bud ,apart from heavy purple strains like bloody skunk blue sherb.But since ive been using these lights ,temps have been a lot lower.And they have pretty much had purple in them since hps come down .You might think why did you not just use a ac ,noise for one .We have the police flying a drone about now also ,must admit i have felt a lot better.Since rooms are now not running hot,really happy with the way the lights are going and the thc on these plants is great.There still young ,10 week strains.But lets face it its all about resin farming20201030_085747-01.jpeg20201030_085752-01.jpeg20201030_085807-01.jpeg20201030_085829-01.jpeg20201030_085840-01.jpeg20201030_085817-01.jpeg

Because I received light when I was ready to flower ,I just pulled all the hps lights out to see what they was like in flower.I did around 2 week with lights in veg ,but most of veg was done under t5.I do need another sf2000 just for veg,its only way to test the lights out fully really.But we will see if i decide on flipping over to that,aint got money atm.Last crop under hps was not that great 1/2 lb per plant,my fault messing around with new strains.Im back to clones now though.Jaffalatto,lemon kush,disco biscuit,sugar factory.Also have 2 discos and a super lemon duplicate run for next time.But I am hoping I can get at least one sugar factory in the flower room .One thing i have learnt is The amount of money that could be saved with these in a large scale is un real .You could if you wanted just flower under these till week 5 then hps for bulk,if the weights not there then this is most likely what I will do.But gotta admit so far so good the amount of trichomes on these at this stage is incredible,they should be totally covered by the end .If the continue the same way there doing now.I have noticed that these boards really do create a lot of thc ,a friends running same cuts under hps .His look great now,but these definitely have more thc on them.Im just starting to see purple color in the DB,its a pheno that goes purple if temps are right.Cant wait to smoke this,the lemon haze smells really nice.I may keep her around ,ive had a problem that I've only had once before powdery mildew.Im thinking because temps are so low during lights off ,so ive treated.And added a heater to veg unit also added better air flow,it aint under the boards from spiderfarmer tbh.Its under the single florescent tube and 4 tube t5 .

So not there yet. Plan to convert to all Spider Farmer. I’m waiting to see if they’ll be offering the LM301H soon. Anyone heard?

Quick question, would 2x sf1000 be enough for a 1m x 1m x 2m ( 3ft3in x 3ft3in x 6ft7in ) tent in your opinion?

They haven't said anything about it yet. Just collecting feedback from what I understand. So it could be some more days before they officially state anything techincal. I'm also hyped about their new QB. Can't wait :mrgreen:

yes i would say so,there really bright dude honest .This room is prob 2 1/2 mtr x 1 1/2 mtr

Are they good for germination too or will cause stretch? But I think that's avoidable lowering it and dimming down the power. Also I read somewhere someone said their qb didn't have enough blue specturm so they had to use an additional LED for seedling/veg stage.

No there pretty good for veg ,you won't get no stretch ,i didn't get much for the 3 weeks I vegged under it .But make sure you go on there guide ,im bad for not reading stuff.And on this occasion I didn't read the pamphlet and got a little bleaching .I definitely would get a heater because they dont admit much heat ,so ya may need a extra heater .Or just use smaller fans ,i bought a speed dial for exhaust too.These arnt like any led ive used before and i have a collection now lol,full spec so it is bang on for all phases of growth
 
The amount of thc on both these strains is a very nice sight,there absolutely covered in it.Just what you want to see when you use oil ,the more thc on the leaf is a great sight to.Because it means that I can get away with making oil from the sugar leaf trim and any thing thats under table.The stuff that aint eye candy ,really happy with the strains and the mothers i have coming along .Its been a long hunting two of these down ,the disco biscuit i popped 10 did not get the pheno I wanted .But talked him into doing me a cut ,for a sugar factory cutting .The jaffalatto been after a while .Lemon kush is very nice he gave me a 8th with em of each strain,he really wanted that sugar factory.The other thing to watch out for is this,because you not causing any heat from your grow room ,be careful about powdery mildew.I got it on the disco biscuit ,it was not on any of the plants under the spiderfarmer lights .Under the t5,the temps was to cold during lights off.But only the disco biscuit was effected and just the one plant ,I would normally ditch it,but i treated it.I just put a heater at the side of the veg box ,and made it so its got better air flow.The bud is incredible of that pheno.I have 2 phenos of disco and i only did the one,so its plant i did not want to lose .Im not even sure underground seeds are still about tbh ,they have been out of stock a while now.If it does get it again its going though,I know the jaffa and lemon kush sugar factory are all OK with conditions because they aint been effected.

I try and get ya some photos of the plant i aint shown much its one plant on its own, ut in corner of room,indica dominant.So lower than table ,exodus cheese.Its behind rest,reason i aint posted much from it pictures look crap,and it aint got much bud on it yet .But once it has it will do well ,I get ya a shot of plant tomorrow its big .Its in the same room has the scrog,but if you have grown like this before then you will know that very little light gets below table.I had to add a 4th light sf1000,so its pretty much 1 light 1 plant with that one.Im struggling to get to it ,stupid ass idea.But ya learn from your mistakes,and it should do a bit of exo for me to smoke.You could get a sf2000,but i like the idea of been able to have a gap ,and move them around.Thats just me,them been able to be dimmed is great also

Dude honest I used to be the same with defoliation,I would never do it to that extreme .But the plants definitely respond well to it ,the cheese cake im running in tent loves it.3rd time I have done it now last time about 3 days ago ,did the Swazi and kyle kusman technique during first few week of flower .lst right through veg ,when I take her down ,i get a photo of her stems.Unreal really proper bonzi

An extra heater you say? I don't know if I'll use that, my house is overall heated as it is. And I was planning on using a tower fan. Also I wanted to do scrog with this bad boy since it has that almost equal light coverage 8-)
 
Starting week 4 of flower under the SF1000 on my Sour Diesel in my 4x2 but I think I need an SF2000.... I just don't have the money

Yeah no, 2x sf1000 is way better than one sf2000 like you said. You can manipulate them based on the situation you're in, different heights, intensity etc. Plus if I want to grow say 2 different strains of auto, so both 18/6 but one gets taller bcus, then I can at least work only on the light I'm interested in
