Pot size and number question.

So I’m growing in a 2’ by 2.5’ tent and I want the plants to get to 3.5’- 4’ max. Is this achievable in 2 gallon pots or should I go 3 gallon? Also how many of each pot should I be able to fit into that space?... all plants are indicas.

I have the same size tent. You only have room for one. Go big on the pot, more like 5 gallon.

I agree with boat guy 2 plants max. I can get 100+ grams with 1 plant in a 2’x2.5’. Im sure I will get better in time as well. I also agree go 5 gallon. You may be watering it every day after it’s mature but that’s not a bad thing.

So the problems see with that is I’m using leds and I’ve only got about 32 inches of light penetration. I don’t want to end up with a bunch of shitty bud at the bottom of my plant.

If you want variety you could do 4 plants in 2 gallons, maybe 3 gallons if you get the right shape to fit the tent and do 12/12 from seed. It will be tight but you can do it. The plants will stay small enough that light pen. won't be an issue. You can do minor defoliation if you get a real leafy/dinosaur leafed strain. If you top them before they start showing signs of flowering they can usually recover before flowering even under 12/12 from seed. I don't have much experience with growing slow growing indicas this way however. 99% of what I grow is hybrids.

Prolly get 1.5-2oz per plant with the right strain selection and a little luck. Pretty hard to get under 1.5 with a well fed plant IME.

What kind of light you using? 400 watt HPS/equivalent in quality LED's I think you could be quite happy with the results.

I’m using 3 fluence ray 22 leds, they are about 2 weeks old now I’ve had them on a 18-6 schedule for a little over a week I was gunna switch to 12- 12 at 10 inches. You think that’s too late?

For indica's no, not too late. You should see them double in height if they are heavy indica. Either way a plant won't flower until it's ready so if they aren't ready to flower until 4 weeks they'll just keep vegging.

If you're thinking about 12/12 from seed, or similar to it there's a thread on here where you can see folks results with the technique and decide if that's something you want to try.

Here's some thoughts I had on the 12/12 from seed I used to grow in that size space myself.
