Pot size

Only when they're ready. Check the bottom holes of your pot to see if you have roots peeking out looking to expand. I like to wait until I can see at least the tip of a few roots in a couple holes, but not so long that they grow out of your container and make transplanting more of a pain.

That's about a one gallon container, maybe less. It really depends on how big it will grow and how good you are at providing the needed nutrients at exactly the right amount and at the exact right time. With autos, time is not your friend.

The volume of roots is somewhat the size of the plant. The more medium it grows in, the more food it can find on it's own when it needs it.

Not knowing the genetics of the plant, I would probably double the pot size by the end.

If your growing in "soil" and not a coco based medium...pot up often. Like above poster said. Pop the root ball out every so often and check for major root circling. For most indoor grows final pot in peat based soil mixes is anywhere from 3 gallon all the way up to 7 or 10. Depending on your space..method..set up..and cultivar being grown. When I grew in soil mixes my yield was very determinant on final pot size and how much the roots were packed in said final pot..provided my light up top was right for what I was doing. When you start to get real good at knowing when to transplant...you should notice that the next pot up is when the plant is drinking the smaller pot fairly dry daily or every other day after a good water/feed. Thats when her metabolism is on point...shes growing very nice...and ready for a new & bigger pair of shoes.

Hey thanks everyone, well they're in 60x60x140cm tent so I don' want them to grow to big, so do you think these pots are too small for them to stay in until the end

You could easily go up to 20 liters. There's no maximum really.

The pot size does't have a whole lot to do with how tall it will get. If it's starts getting too big before she finishes, you'll need to do some type of training.

Yeah. I'm not saying you have to go to 20 liters. In my grow room, under my conditions, I would. Trying to finish it in a three liter pot is going to be a challenge.

No matter what you choose, I wish you the best of luck. She looks pretty darn good so far.

Maybe I will go up to 15 litres considering the size of my tent, thanks mate

Yep. Work up to a 3 or 5 gallon. Either next or one later. And definitely wait until roots get established and shes drinking the final pot dry daily or every other day...then flip to 12-12. Your prolly gonna have to top and train for a short bushy plant in final pot while shes vegging and packing on roots. Root growth is fairly equal to top growth. Use a weekly kelp/humic foliar spray to keep her really bushy and short but wide along with the topping and training techniques.

I replanted my 3 & 1/2 week auto blue treacle seedlings last Monday into these 3litre pots and they have doubled in size will i need to transplant again, cheers
Those are nowhere near ready to transplant or flip to flower. I dont mess with autos if thats what they are. Iam only talking regular photoperiod cannabis cultivars.

Yes, you can re-pot. You said originally that they've doubled in size since the last time. You should be perfectly fine.

IMO, greater harm would come from not potting up.
