Pot too big?

Hello
Yasterday i decided to trasnplant my seedling it was in a large 16L(3.5 Gallons) pot and i got a new pot that is 3.5L(0.6 Gallons)I was thinking is the pot too big my seedling is 3 weeks old and the roots were really small here is a picure of the seedling so you can understand
Dude. It’s too big and too dry. Is it outside in full light?

That plant is 3 weeks old? No way, Looks 3 days old. Also post more pics the light is shining off what looks to be dead Cotyledons.

Just water right around the seedling. Don't get the whole pot wet...or it'll never dry. And because it's coco, include low dose nutes. I use 1/8 strength for that size seedling.

it aint coco its normal soil
oh and my plant died rip

Sorry you lost a plant. Consider using peat pots filled with a mild seed starter mix. And my bad about the medium...thought it looked like coco.

maybe its coco becasue it was a shady store wher i bought it frojm
Don't beat yourself up...we all lose plants. About a year ago I watered some seedlings accidentally with ph down...had them in similar container to ph corrected H2O. Killed half dozen seedlings. Stoner moment...
