^ this...I use~60g bud/trim to 1lb butter. There are 2 upsides to making it more potent the obvious one being it's more potent but why I like to make it potent is because it allows me to use less of the pot butter and supplement regular butter in while still getting extremely baked off 1 edible. When you make pot butter you're essentially doing what cooks call clarifying which is to remove the fat. Having real butter in there will create a better taste and structure to whatever you make.
