its that time to start my second grow!! my first attempt went decent but lack of info made the buds far less potent then i wanted.

GROW BOX:
im using a computer cabinet that i modified for growing. 3.5' high 19" depth 29"width. It has a top section for the extension cords and exhaust tubing/fans. Inside is painted flat white for relfectivity.
two cougar pc fans power the exhaust(i forget the cfm) with a passive intake. fans are hooked to a speedcontoller to help with temps.

SEEDS:
8 bagseed hoping for 2 females

SOIL:
miricle grow and perlite mixed 50/50. i know its not the best but its what i got trying to keep cost down

LIGHTS:
all cfl grow
2 55w 2700k
4 23w 6500k
4 23w 5000k
4 26w 2700k

Good luck on your grow man, lots of CFL's , fan, exhaust, temp. monitoring, looks good. Don't OVERWATER your seedlings...

everything is in check as far as temps and humidity. wish i had something i could do besides sit and just watch them haha

You should paint those back boards for you lights white or wrap them in tin foil ... also id say u only really need 4 lights on those little ladies for the first week .. id like to get a nice cabinet one of these days and try this way instead of closet

i plan on painting them. this was right after i finished drilling the holes and did a test fit. i actually only have 4 lights on now haha

right on man cant wait to see what you come up with... the best thing ive found are those 3 headed cheap lamps from wallmart for fixtures i take them apart and use the telescopic heads and i can turn my lights where i need.

thats not a bad idea at all!! i have one socket with a v split right now. figure that will be good seeing im only gunna use it for the first week or two of their life

Yeah man there only like 15 bucks a piece i say thats not bad for 3 fixtures if your any bit handy there easy to take apart and re-wire.. then I get a 2 by 4 paint it white and get some tin shades how ever big u like try for white or metallic and slap er together lol.

EDIT.. but that only handles the top lighting but does a good job.. those fixtures handle up to 60 watts so i like to get the 200 watt equivalent cfls they pump out 3150 lumens or somthing

today i noticed that my exhaust fans........were blowing in.....i guess i smoked a little much before installing those haha.
