So.. Just started week 5 in flower. Pots have typically dried out in 2-3 days max with about 3/4 of a gallon for a 3 gallon pot. I watered last Tuesday. Had to stake up a ton of branches the following day, Wednesday. I watered again on Thursday although the pots weren't completely dry but dry enough to water. I check the plants on Saturday and pots were still heavy. I found this was unusual but figured I would check back today, Sunday, to water. Pots were still heavy af and this hasn't happened once this grow. Plenty of air circulation, humidity around 45%, day temp at 80, night temp at. 68. Overall plant health is great.
I will state that I did not transplant at the beginning of flower but used a lot of perlite in my FFOF and have had good drainage this far into flower.
Also, color of the leaves are normal, they look slightly yellow due to the HPS+LED combo.
Question:
Is the plant in shock from breaking of roots, causing it to not absorb water? Is the soil beginning to compact because I never transplanted? If so should I transplant this late in flower? Please give opinions on what is going on and possible solutions. Thanks in advance for your time.
