pound for my next grow?

thinking of running 5 plants in 20 litre pots under my 600w, 1 plant in each corner and 1 in the middle. id be aiming for 3.2 ounces a plant! what y'all think?

youre good LOL, you can get a nice yield with a 400 and HYDRO, 1/2-3/4, maybe a pound if you lose some plants

You should be able to get around a gram per watt if done correctly, veg times vary, flower time is up to the plant to finish, LST is a must for a pound and one light in a tent, nearly impossible without topping twice and supercropping the hell out of it during the last 3 weeks of veg for ALL top colas, no shit underneith, cut it so the tops get all the nutes!!!!!

If you run with 4 plnts, check the lst tutorial in my sig. One thing that isnt mentioned in the tutorial is that the plants come out "square" (for the most part) With a short veg, you get 4 squares to make one big 4x4 square. I've had students who run 4 under a 4x4 screen in a closet. 4x4 is a rough #, depends on the closet. The closet we set up in the classroom was actually 44" x 39",......make your screen the size of the area, no gaps on size, you'll use the whole screen.

Depends on which strain...My Shark will overgrow my area in 6 weeks so I let her go around 5 weeks or so and my Cheese is a little slower to start so it recieves the full 6 weeks and sometimes a little longer.
Look for short growing strains they end up growing better in tight spaces a good example is my cheese from ghs, you can manipulate the shit out of it and it just doesn't stretch but still produces when let to veg. I have had her in veg for 12 weeks before and she was still only 28 inches tall!

Big Buddas Blue cheese is another one like Sir G suggested. She roots and shoots very quickly but then retains that indica dominant stature. GREAT for training into a low square, bud filled canopy. Yields very well and if you have the patience to cure a hair longer, the taste is thru the roof. High begins with a lift and then sedates you real nice. Great morning strain if you're an afternoon napper.

you keep stressing that you're growing for quantity and not quality but I don't think you really understand that there isn't much of a trade off in terms of "how to grow a pound"... if you do things right you'll get both quantity and quality... the only time you might see a "Trade off" of one vs the other is in any final "flush" of chem salts for a better tasting bud, which of course will be of little concern to you as a hash maker. you can also flake on the curing process without much worry but other than that you shouldn't be doing much differently as a hash grower vs a bud grower (maybe strain selection when you're buying seeds).
Also, growing a pound of mediocre quality will yield much less hash than a pound of high quality.

I average about 3 ounces a plant in 2 and or 3 gallon pots BUT.. I am doing it all LST and pinched down, longer veg times and all CFL.

I think what I mean is.. if you veg and get her ready to flower under lower lights, and THEN stick it under the HPS, the roots wont be growing much afterward. Whereas if you put them in under a HPS light used correctly BEFORE they are ready to flower, they will grow right out of that pot in a week.
If that makes any sense..
Just a thought.. it may or may not have merit.

i dont agree that at all, hes got no shot without advanced nutes, thats a pretty bold senseless comment, any grower knows theres many greatrecipes wth many different brands, I personally use General Hydroponics basic 3 bottle system, and i get a pound a grow with 2 plants as ive stated in numerous posts and threads, i agree about the topping a few times mid veg to increase the size of the colas also supercropping is great for only a couple plants, its more in the lights than your brand of nutes come on man OPEN MOUTH INSERT FOOT!!!!!!
