Powder on bud?

Hey folks,

I was jus over at a buddies house checking out his recent harvest of....purple something mixed with snowcap. It looked good, definitly smelled like snowcap with some grapiness to it.

Thing is, as i looked at the bud and broke it up, i noticed some white powdery substance coming off it. When i snapped a nug, a lil white powder cloud came off it too.

Whats that all about?
 
He need's a sulfer burner if useing one of these while useing hydroponice's turn of the pump's while burning sulfer........tyke...............................................................................................................................................
 
Trichomes are too heavy,they wont burst into the air when a bud is broke like powdery mildew,that's definately what it is. Tell your buddy fast,so he doesn't have the same problem with his next crop. Stay up Oregon,the chronic state.
