Powdery Mildew 7 weeks into 12/12

Hi all, I have some Blueberry 7 weeks into flower with a bad case of Powdery Mildew.
Room temp = 70, humidity = 45-55. E/F system, scrog set up.
I have some Serenade, and also a baking soda mix (1qt water, 1/2t baking soda, 3 drop soap).
I heard you shouldn’t spray anything on the plants this far into flowering. What do you guys think?
#1 What can I spray on them now to get rid of the PM.
#2 When I harvest, how can I get the PM dust off the buds? Dunk in water? Spray them off with canned air?
Spray them off with water?

Powdery mildew is systemic...it is inside your plant...its like herpes for weed ...... there are treatments

Milk, 1/4 cup to 32 oz water....h202 1/4 cup to 32 oz water... these work but you need to apply every 4-5 days..

These you wanna use when your in flower as they are organic treatments.... not cures.....all can be used up to the day of harvest...just spray in the morning hours of light so your buds can dry


If you are looking for a cure to PM.... Eagle 20 EW is a systemic fungicide that used on pm....you wanna use this product during veg growth or onset into flower it stays inside your plant for 30 days


Remember all the clones or starts taken off these plants will also have pm..but usually will not show it until your in flower

WOW, thanks colonuggs, great advice. Funny, after I posted I was reading about Greencure. Is Greencure safe to use this late into flowering? Will it actually take the PM dust off the buds? What do you think about this idea.... use greencure now on all my flowering plants and use Eagle 20 ew on my clones and veg plants. Thanks again man.

If the PM is on the surface of your buds there shouldnt be any issues...if its inside the buds thats no good

Thats what I did... I hit my moms up every 30 days for 3 months

I cleaned my grow room entirely with a bleach/water mixture 1/4 cup per gallon..walls... floor....ceiling...potters...light hoods everything thats in the GR....it only takes 1 spore to muck up a grow

Thats one of the problems when you purchase clones or get them from people...there may be a hidden surprize inside and usually you wont know about it until your in flower.....thats why people grow from seed and filter the intake air

I just got my Eagle 20ew in the mail today. I'm going to spray it on my Veg plants. What would be a good mixture per quart/gal?
Also, I have plants 14 and 19 days into flowering. Is it too late to use Eagle on these? My GreenCure should also be coming in the mail today. thanks....Steve

LOL, I love the analogy! When you put it that way, it really hits home. jk, I don't have herpes, but I do have some powdery mildew seeping from my cock, any thoughts?

brother or sister, listen closely....
use eagle 20 2 mils/gal on plants as soon as rooted or before, spray every week once up until last week. Youwill never see pm or botritous, eagle 20 is really non toxic and breaks down within 6 days. Don't fight mold as many strains have it systemically, and are more proned to hosting this. Also, high quality mychorizae products have bacteria that eat this mold, consider both.

Stillnl, you are a fucking idiot. Eagle 20 is an awesome systemic but it's super toxic to humans. Using into your last weeks could seriously harm anyone who smokes that bullshit

To advise people to use a known carcinogen intended only for ornamental plants is the height of stupidity. Not only is Eagle 20EW a known carcinogen, when burned it is even more toxic. This product is banned in California, and is currently being reviewed in Canada and Europe with a future ban almost guaranteed. Half life studies show that it remains for up to 60 days in grapes, so it will still be present in most marijuana grown since I've noticed many people start the flowering process as early as two weeks into the vegetative stage. I own a commercial organic greenhouse, and grow organic vegetables and fruit. There are plenty of other products that work if you're willing to sacrifice your greed for profits to do the right thing. Remove and destroy infected plants, make sure the environment is as inhospitable to the disease as possible, and have a preventative program in place with products such as neem oil, Greencure, water PH'd to 8-10, etc. You should be banned for making such an irresponsible post. And I feel sorry for anyone you have poisoned with your tainted marijuana, because unbeknownst to them, you have probably given them and yourself cancer.

baking soda worked for me. i gave the buds a gentle blow dry afterwards
