Powdery Mildew and Eagle 20

It's burns em and I always did 1tbsp per gallon. Anything more seemed to burn too much. Might work for some people don't know how tho lol
Yea the only reason I was considering using it is if the eagle 20 I already sprayed is working internally and I just need to wash some old spores off the surface with the green cure.

But if the eagle 20 is suppose to make the PM disappear, I think I need to apply a higher dose like we talked about.

One of the comments reads 297 day residual but I thought it was much shorter. Also notice co extracts and the bit about combustion,. I just skimmed over it since pm isn't an issue of mine.
Definitely much shorter, but it also depends outdoors vs indoors. Outdoors you have the sun to break it down, indoors it can last a lot longer.

Okay I'll look again tomorrow, if not time to bust out the suit and respirator :bigjoint:

Yea most people I have talked to have said green cure is a bandaid, but I have seen some people claim it worked for them. If PM is really systemic, green cure is not a "cure".

the label says 1-2tbsp per gallon, so did you use half a tbsp or a full? Also I don't mind if the pistils are burned a little, but did they still recover and end up producing nice buds? Thanks for the feedback.
I used the full 2 tbsp. I never saw it again for the remainder of the grow.

approx 2 wks later ________ Finished buds

Eagle blocks the synthesis of a protein necessary for cell wall production, or something like that (please don't try and set my record straight, haven't read up on the mode of action for quite some time, just going off my half baked memory). This means that it prevents new growth, but does not kill the spores that you see developed on the leaves. I believe (could be wrong/not remembering) that the spores survive longer than the Eagle is active in the plant. Which means, without killing the spores, that shit is just going to rear it's ugly head again.

I have a method to wipe it out, but for personal reasons, can't share it here.

Thank you for sharing! Your dose is close to 30ml which is over 5 times the dose I did. I think I will increase my dose.

Thanks for the input, if you feel like sharing privately my PM is available lol bongsmilie

Also this is exactly what I was looking for, and I have less toxic ways to attempt to wash off the spores. However, given that other people have seen it disappear with a higher dosage of eagle 20, this information appears to be contradicting to those results but in line with what I am seeing in my situation. Still confused haha

FWIW, Myclobutunil based fungicides are not used on tobacco in the US but they are in China. if you can find the paper "Dissipation and Residues of Myclobutanil in Tobacco and Soil Under Field Conditions", there is info about half life and such. But this is China, so...

what causes pm is very pore ventilation so your out side and the wind is not blowing what can you do second humidity to damn high , can change the environment out side . so the neem oil worked well apply it daily also suggest putting a ph lowering solution in about 2 very low mold hats low ph spray this ph water 2 ish 1 drop soap per gallon neem oil follow directions and hit them daily .

Used green cure once a week in a commercial setting. It washes it off thats it pm is systemic
I'm pretty sure PM is not systemic, it's more about it's bloom phase , you gonna see some blooms still after the first application , i'd suggest hitting again or hitting with some potassium bicarbonate, that will kill it, but PM can come back, its in the air, its in your grow, you need to clean your area and do some air flow and humidity/temp prevention. Big swings in temp/humidity gonna make those PM spores in the air come back.

It will kill it over a week or two if not washed off. Reason eagle is only thing that kills it is both are systemic. Kills from inside out so if you don't wash it off it will take its time to die but will be dead before the 30 days is up

Yes I have a college degree and am a CVT lol I know more about systemic drugs than a lot of people. Green cure is topical, eagle 20 is systemic and so is powdery mildew
http://bigbudsmag.com/marijuana-cannabis-stop-powdery-mildew-hydroponics/
That was the first thing that popped up when Saying powdery mildew systemic.
Powdery mildew isn't absorbed into the plant bro it's only on the surface , and your source isn't a very good one, I been growing grapes and they get PM too, its in the wind, it goes away in the winter here in Colorado , it's not in the plants system its on the surface of the leaf, its a type of mycelium fungus that blooms and dies like any fungus spores they don't absorb into the plant...

I mean it's only Jorge Cervantes saying it's systemic

Don't use weed growing sites man they are really not knowledgable you should be looking into ornamental plants and veggies, they are also effected by this.
If you read it you'll see it Jorge Cervantes personal site. He goes into depth about how it's in the plant. But again he's only been doing this a while and one of the most renowned cannabis horticulturist
