Yea all of a sudden we have been getting high 80's low 90's here in the Bay Area. But I will try that milk an water today. Should I just chop her down already before it gets worse?

I did the hydrogen peroxide bath with one plant I had that had pm. IME you need a higher concentration of hydrogen peroxide. But as the video shows, it'll all float to the surface

My puter is too slow to watch video..does that work for real? and does it alter the look or smoke?

Didn't seem to. Per the video, after sloshing the branches in the "bath" for several minutes, I rinsed them off with straight water, took them out and hung them on a rack with a fan on for a bit to get rid of the moisture, then dried and cured like normal.

Yeah it works amazing. In the end of the vid they show a man in spain with a literally a pool of this mixture and he scrapes off a big scoop of the powdery mildew off the top. There ahd to be a hundred plants in that to make this much i mean literally gallons of this stuff. Shit aint no joke and who wants to smoke Mildew.Yuk. Ill try n take a snapshot of the end n post it as a pic. But yes done properly it works and will not affect any taste or aroma since that is mostley in the dry and cure stage.

If you have a while before your harvest, try Serenade. It's organic, and allegedly you can use it up until the date of harvest on vegetables (tho I wouldn't.) When I chopped, did the peroxide wash, hung and dried as normal. Tasting fine, though young and green. :-)

I just did this wash thing myself. Here is a thread with pics at GC I did. The bud is just now dry. I will post pics if anyone wants to see them. I also posted in the vids comments.

http://forum.grasscity.com/outdoor-marijuana-growing/1121372-washing-pm-off-after-harvest.html <--- pics can be seen by all

When I did it no oil came to the top. Jorge must of had other oils on his plants. PM is not oil base that I know of. The wash did not take the PM off the large fan leafs. It did get the PM of the sugar leafs close the the buds for those tend to be lose like powder. The wash does not effect any of the trikes. Under the scope they are all standing and the bud does look clean. Smell is not as strong. Has really low order until you pinch it. Buds looks ugly but trim up okay in my book. While it is drying you think WTF did I just do. But after it dries it looks the same for the most part. Did not effect taste. After I washed I fan dry them with large fan for an hour. Then I started trimming. After I hung the buds on the string I let fan blow on them for 24 hours. Then I let dry like normal.

If I was to do it again?

I would do like it the vid but not rinse with hose. I would use two tubs of water. One to soak and the other to dip rinse in clean water only. I would also trim the leafs right off the colas/buds like normal. Trim all the PM close to the buds out. Then do the wash. This way your not trimming wet saggy leafs after the wash. You will save trimming time this way.

Again I have a part of a branch that just now dried. I can pics of that. I would only do this if your sugar leafs have PM up and into your buds. Also I would not try curing your buds that had PM. IMO PM will come back in the jars. Just dry it and call it good. After it's dry you can still make this bud look pretty. It does smoke smooth I must say. Hope this help friends. As far as curing your on your own. Did the wash stirile the PM so it won't came back? IMO stay away from jars at this point.

Like I said above I did not have any oil at all in my wash. I saw the PM float to the top though. Nothing like it the vid. The PM I saw was hard to see even when you looked good. I almost want to call BS on the whole scum thing. Not sure though for I only did a few branches. I also read all the comments on the vid. Other people said the same thing about the oils. People fighting over what it does to the trikes. The trikes are not effected at all. No trike damage seen.

If you read the above link. This is what the bud looks like. This was a fast trim after the plant was washed. Not the best looking now but will clean up good.

I would say if you have to do this wash it does work. Just lots of extra work though. I only did a few branches that I found some rot and PM on.

It is what it is. I will post some cleaned up buds next.

Camera died so I only got 3 pics. Will get more when I do the next plant.

I did all the buds you see in the pics. I did see a little oil but nothing like in Jorges Vid. I had to look for it to even see it. I did trim my buds before the wash though. So I cut out lots of PM before I even did the wash. Water turned dirty so lots of dust and dirt on my buds.
