My buddy at the grow store turned me on to this stuff. I had been burning sulpher for several days in a row and it was definitely keeping the spread under control but a couple of colonies where just holding on for all they where worth. My pistols where starting to show a little stress from the sulphur. So, my guy says he's been using this stuff himself and highly recommended it. I bought a bag for $10. A little skeptical but I sure want a healthy harvest more than I need an extra ten bucks , so what the heck. Now he said to mix it up double strength, I mixed 2 tsp to a zep sprayer bottle, put in a little safer soap and went to town. I didn't take all the plants out I just sprayed the few infected leaves I could find (maybe 8) and hosed down the understory real good. As an experiment I also hosed down a lower bud on one plant to see if it was truly safe to spray on the whole plant.
So a day later every colony I sprayed is dead. I inspected all my ladies (up against the wall and spread em')and only found 2 new spots. I can live with 2 spots, but of course I sprayed them too. The bud I hosed down still has white pistols. They do look to have shrank just a little but as far as outright damage it is acceptable. Honestly if mold infected my buds I'd just toss the grow into the fireplace anyway. But it's nice to know that a little overspray isnt going to harm anything.
So, that's my product review. I can recommend it with confidence to anyone who is looking for a backup to they're sulfur burner, or just has a minor problem.
The real key is to act fast and don't let that shit go crazy in the first place. If you detect a problem arising "deal with it".

Actinovate! The shit works!

I have been using 9 part water to 1 part non fat milk and it has been working good for me. I just spray it on and the next day they are all gone. i try to do it about once or twice a week.

How long does it stay in the plant?
The product states that it is 100% safe to use, up to and including the day of harvest. Interestingly enough it also says not to breath it or get contaminated by it?hmm

Anyway the actual question..... The active ingredient is (streptomyces lydicus WYEC 108*) wich is a bacteria or fungus.... pretty stoned, can't remember. But, if it reaches the root system it will form a beneficial symbiotic relationship with the root system and it will kill any other uhhhhh(google...) Microbe! that tries to muscle in on it's turf. A.K.A. protecting and nourishing your roots!
I would venture it only lives on the leaves until it eats all of it's available food<<< A.K.A the bad stuff eating your plant.

As long as it doesn't decide I'm food I like it.

So I mean it is 'somthing' on yer plants, as is the sulfur. It would be preferable not to have to use any inoculations on our plants at all.
However in the present days it seams pestilence and disease is running rampant. The fact is measures have to be taken to ensure a quality outcome.
Without the most stringent regimented entry protocols and no expense spared on environmental conditions these issues are not easily avoided.
It is my experience that most people who cultivate marijuana do not live in a sterile environment, very few...... The closest Ive seen was that grow up in Canada with Lisa Ling.

Anyway , Ive babbled on long enough now and I think I even answered the question at some point, soooooo peace, I'm out.

Oh, and yeah, I'm sure it's water soluble.

Research it and if you find out it's concentrated cyanide or somthing let me know, I think it's registered as 100% safe.... but who knows, somebody knows....
